Can you guys add new ratings to FM Scout like anchor man, poacher, trequartista, deep lying playermaker, etc. based on FM13 player roles? You can check all the important attributes from FM, just need to set proper weights. I think this rating system would be much better than the current one.
with the new training system that is introduced in fm 13 the role rating would be a hard thing to achieve.
for example i find a midfielder that can be both ap and dlp but i decide to train him as a center mid, so his stats will be good in all areas. that way his potential role will end up differently after some time. While training him as an AP or DLP might hardly improve his attributes cause they might already be quite high and develop a bit anyway.
if you find a player that is natural as a dm and a dc and GS says he'll be better as a DM pick a DC training schedule and in the end GS might even change his best position.
