Hi people! I would like to present my tactical approach that is used for Nottingham Forest: my Football Manager 2013 tactic. Following the link above, you will see an original tactical system described by me. I don't want to duplicate the review here, though I can try to depict the idea and latest results.
Idea:
Every opponent demands an individual approach. I look at its tactics they used and faced, strong and weak areas, pay attention to weather , etc. Then I use one of 3 tactics depending on what I learned. The point is in that all my tactics differ much not only in team/player instructions or strategy but also in formation: Control narrow 4-2-3-1, Counter-attacking 4-1-2-1-2, Classic 4-4-2. This approach allows to oppose any team.
Results:
One season was played and I managed to promote to PL with Forest from the 3rd position. Not the largest success but I feel I can claim my tactical approach works fine.
