Macclesfield in search for new coach

9/7/12:

Following their relegation from the football league. Macclesfield's boss has resigned. A new coach is now required to take over the team and get them to glory.

They hope to announce the candidate on the 17th of July!

Macclesfield acquire Debenham as Head Coach

17/7/12

Macclesfield chairman Mike Rance has appointed former semi-professional footballer Lloyd Debenham to take over at Macclesfield as Head Coach. This meaning that not only will he manage the team but also coach the team in training and get more involved with the players.

At press conference

Chairman speech:
I am happy to welcome Lloyd to the club as I believe he has a lot of knowledge about the lower leagues and hopefully that will pay off. He hopes to make many signings to boost the squad. Lloyd has various ideas about what to do to help the future of this club.

Debenham's speech:
Thank you. I am glad to have been hired as head coach. I really want to get involved with the players as much as possible so that we have a happy atmosphere around both the training ground and the stadium. I hope to bring in young talents to boost both the senior and U18's team which will become handy in the near future.

I hope to bring in some experienced players who have played for their countries which will boost the team as I feel the team needs some age as after last year's relegation, the club have lost a huge number of it's player and I want to restore the squad.

End of month manager speech:

Results:
I feel we have had a good month with some great results like our victory against Hereford, we dominated the first three game but the Lincoln game we we dominated by the other team and couldn't get it out of our half for most of the game. The Barrow game we took a well deserved lead thanks to a really good goal from McNamee to give us the lead but as soon as they equalized we couldn't get through their back four.

Finance Situation:
As we may know, relegation last year cost this club a hell lot of money and the sum is rapidly decreasing. Especially as we didn't sell any players in the transfer window, it wasn't good helping us. So we do need to sell some players in January for good amounts of money even if it means selling some first team players.
