Worrying times mate! The Newcastle game was a lot better though and we scored some goals, i've pushed Aguero up front instead of playing as an AM and that seemed to work in both the Basel and Newcastle game.

A couple of nights of not playing though have pretty much meant my story is where i am in the game so can't even hint at whats going to happen!

Where is Super Mario?

As the 2012/2013 season enters November, Champions Manchester City seem to be struggling to maintain any kind of form or consistancy. Three consecutive league defeats have left the side with an uphill task to retain their title and Georgi Kinkladze already looking a little worried about his job, but despite a few injuries and a period with a lack of goals, Manchester City’s manager has yet to turn to “Super” Mario Balotelli.

The controversial Italian striker, who has made himself a cult hero amongst fans with his off field antics, has only started one game all season and that was a shock Capital One Cup defeat to Stevenage and has yet to even appear on the substitutes bench in the League or Champions League.

It would seem that Kinkladze does not favour the player as his previous manager Roberto Mancini did do and Kinkladze will not put up with his attitude and his apparent lack of commitment to the cause, but his agent has hinted that Mario’s lack of appearances may lead to him leaving the Club in the January transfer window.

“Mario is a great player and he needs to play football, if Mr Kinkladze does not appreciate his talents then I’m sure a manager somewhere else will. Mario trains with the first team and tries his hardest but still he sits at home on match days, what more can he do?”

When asked by reporters what his opinion of Balotelli was, Kinkladze responded by sayin “Mario needs to work harder and prove to me he wants this, he is undoubtedly a great player but his attitude isn’t quite right for the team right now.”

Even in early November, speculation about the teams that would want Balotelli are growing, with the likes of Italian giants Juventus & AC Milan, German side Bayern Munich, and even Premier League rivals Chelsea all being linked with a £20m move for the Italian striker. Only time will tell, but the “Why Always Me?” T-shirt wearing star might have to start asking, “Why never me” as his current exclusion from the first team continues.
some tough results there but im sure youll pull it back together and get back on form :D
Hoping so! We are much better than how we've been playing anyway

The move to put Aguero up front has been a good one though, just got to keep Silva fit and buy in a player or 2 in january!
yea few more faces to give the team that extra boost :)
Might have to give Super Mario a run out :P

cant believe i posted this story then news broke of his fight with Mancini on the training ground!
Saturday 10th November – Manchester City v Swansea (Premier League)

MCFC Starting XI – Friedel, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov; De Rossi, Rodwell; Nasri, Nem, Silva; Aguero SUBS – Hart, Richards, Lugano, Barry, Milner, Tevez, Dzeko

Swansea Starting XI – Vorm, Tate, Williams, Chico, Taylor; de Guzman, Britton; Pablo Hernandez, Michu, Dyer; Samaras SUBS – Tremmel, Tiendalli, Monk, Frei, Donnelly, Richards, Bartley

Finally a dominate league performance, Man City took control in the first half and finished the game strongly. Disappointed to concede two goals but to score four was enough to give us our first three points in 4 games. Sergio Aguero moving up front has been a good move and he is treating myself and the fans to some great performances.

Final Score – Manchester City 4 (Aguero 2, Kompany 23, Nasri 65, Lescott 73) Swansea 2 (Guzman 12, 81(p))

MOTM – Jonathan de Guzman

Attendance – 46,560
This is a really great story mate, keep up the good work :)
Scoring an early goal feels good when you aren't on a good run. Good win btw.
Thanks lads...the next update might take a while but the story is continuing dont worry...my sons in hospital so might be a few days yet
Hope he is alright :)

Saturday 17th November – Reading v Manchester City (Premier League)

MCFC Starting XI – Friedel, Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov; De Rossi, Toure; Nasri, Nem, Silva; Aguero SUBS – Hart, Clichy, Lugano, Barry, Rodwell, Tevez, Dzeko

Reading Starting XI – Federici, Martin, Gorkss, Pearce, Harte; Gunnarsson, Leigertwood, McAnuff, Robson-Kanu; Le Fondre, Hunt SUBS – McCarthy, Cummings, Storey, Kebe, Roberts, Gunter, Morrison

Easily the worst performance of the Kinkladze era has led to speculation of him quitting the club, or even being sacked as early as November. The players seemed to lack any kind of passion for the team and not one player showed up today.

Final Score – Reading 3 (Hunt 18, Harte 33(p), McAnuff 74) Manchester City 0

MOTM – Kaspars Gorkss

Attendance – 24,161

Wednesday 21st November – Manchester City v Montpellier (Champions League Group C)

MCFC Starting XI – Friedel, Kompany, Lugano, Lescott, Zabaleta, Clichy; De Rossi, Toure; Silva, Nasri, Aguero SUBS – Hart, Nastasic, Richards, Milner, Barry, Nem, Dzeko

Montpellier Starting XI – Pionnier, Bocaly, Congre, Yanga Mbiwa, Jeunechamp; Belhanda, Estrada, Marveaux, Saihi, Mounier; Charbonnier SUBS – Valette, Mezague, Hilton, Utaka, Camara, Deplagne, Dabo

The most frustrating, inconsistent team in Europe surely? We again dominate a game and take control of it from the first minute. We only scored one goal but the result was never in doubt. Qualification from the group is achieved and we now go to Porto knowing a win will win us the group.

Final Score – Manchester City 1 (Aguero 61) Montpellier 0

MOTM – Vincent Kompany

Attendance – 46,495

Saturday 24th November – Stoke City v Manchester City (Premier League)

MCFC Starting XI – Friedel, Lugano, Kompany, Lescott, Zabaleta, Clichy; Barry, Milner; Silva, Nem; Aguero SUBS – Hart, Kolarov, Nastasic, De Rossi, Toure, Nasri, Dzeko

Stoke Starting XI – Begovic, Wilkinson, Shawcross, Huth, Wilson; Whitehead, Whelan, Palacios, Etherington; Crouch, Jones SUBS – Sorenson, Higginbotham, Cameron, N’Zonzi, Jerome, Shotton, Upson

Finally an away performance in the League, all the possession and Stoke rarely threatened the City goal, with Friedel having one of the easiest days of his career. Scoreline could have been even better if it wasn’t for an Aguero missed penalty in the 74th minute.

Final Score – Stoke 0 Manchester City 2 (Aguero 39, Milner 47)

MOTM – James Milner

Attendance – 27,740

Wednesday 28th November – Manchester City v Fulham (Premier League)

In the build-up to the game Manchester City suffered a massive loss, with the news £40m man Daniele De Rossi would miss 2 months of action with a lower back stress fracture.

MCFC Starting XI – Friedel, Lugano, Kompany, Lescott, Zabaleta, Clichy; Barry, Milner; Silva, Nem; Aguero SUBS – Hart, Nastasic, Maicon, Rodwell, Toure, Nasri, Dzeko

Fulham Starting XI – Schwarzar, Rangel Hangeland, Hughes, Riise; Dejagah, Williams, Diarra, Ruiz; Berbatov, Petric SUBS – Stockdale, Kelly, Baird, Sidwell, Gutierrez, Senderos, Burn

The first 17 minutes seemed to put the game out of sight for Fulham as we took a 3-0 lead, but a couple of goals in the second half made it a bit nervy until a Maicon goal in the 90 wrapped up another much needed three points. Injuries to David Silva and Vincent Kompany, picked up during the match, are likely to keep the pair out for around a week.

Final Score – Manchester City 4 (Nem 6, Aguero 13, 17 Maicon 90+1) Fulham 2 (Ruiz 50, Berbatov 70)

MOTM – Sergio Aguero

Attendance – 41,459
Aguero is red-hot for you right now! How many goals has he got now?
