Marco Van Raal was a professional football player for Vitesse in Holland, staying loyal to the club since the age of 14 to his retirement age of 24 due to a knee ligament injury.

Marco loved the club and had a great interest in working with youngsters and was coaching a dutch sunday league team in his spare time. After his retirement he studied and took his coaching badges enabling him to be able to work professionally as a coach.

Marco helped out with the U19 Vitesse squad free of charge as he loves the sport & the club. A year later Vitesse's then manager stood down and Marco took the reigns until further actions were taken...After a good run of friendly victories in the early part of 2012 he got the job permanately.

Marco Van Raal the 25year old manager has a job on his hands at money bags Vitesse!!!

Reporter:- "Do you see yourself as a one club manager?"

Van Raal:- "Well yes if circumstances are right, i love this club it has been good to me my whole life, but i am ambitious and would love to manage at the top level....maybe i can take Vitesse there!!"
