Need help with data editor

Hi, guyz ive been playin FM 2008 since it came out on 18th oct last yr, after around 18 seasons i read somewhere i could edit the game by using the data editor, All i want 2 know is that when we load a database(i load Patch 8.0.2) and change and edit everythin I want 2, after that i save this database, now the question is how do i load that data base into my game...

should work, if you choose save as then you have your own name and all. and then when in game when your starting a new game you get an option to choose database. and then you can choose yours.

if you just saved over the original one, then the original will be the one edited.

I had the same problem, where no option to choose a custom database was shown. I just reinstalled the game and it worked properly.

thnx........so i see, if i want it to work properly i shuld edit everythin b4 i start a game, and then when i start a game(new one) i should use the databse i created, neyways thnx 4 d help...
