I am starting this story in my second season with Fleetwood where we won promotion to league 1 by finishing second. I left this save for a bit but no i am returning to it hope you enjoy. P.S I will actually write on this story.
Good luck with this story
After my promotion to league 1 the club was in a very healthy financial position which enabled me to have a big squad which could compete. We where tipped for a mid table finish but with the squad i believed that we could try to at least be in the play off region of the table. I will post last seasons tables and transfers along with this seasons next.
As the club was about to start its second pre season under Matt Wells and his assistant Adie Shaw, they realised that they had to strengthen the squad to survive. Fleetwood had a very high wage budget and also transfer budget. I decided on a mix between youth and experience. Last season i revamped the whole squad so it would be able to compete which it did. This season i decided to sign:
These are the most notable signings the rest where youth players:
Nicolas bignall 6k This was due to a highly successfull loan spell where he scored 20 goals in all comps for me last season.
Ross Worner 22k Ross would provide competittion for Chris Maxwell and be great backup.
Aumaury Bischoff 60k As an arsenal fan i remember this guy as being crap,he had no knees literaly so i gambled on his as backup for our excellent midfield.
Ross perry 20K Signed to help our defence and cover any injurys.
Rudy Guestede 130K Will join in January but i beleive he will lead the club forward into the Championship...... I hope.
There where around 4 other key signings but nothing else special.
The last season for the club formed a great team and my star performers where....
Youwl Mawene.....My captin who was a rock all season scored goals and saved the team all the time.
Nick Phinn/Damian Johnson..... Made a great partnership but didnt get many assits but where rocks in my midfield the 10 year age gap did not show.
David Ball/ Steven Gillespie..... Scored 47 goals between them in all comps and stood up to the plate when our star player Jon Parkin never scored a goal all season. He was worth 250k but had to sell him for 10k just to get rid of him.
The start of the season has been mixed as soon as i move high up the league i drop down again. key My key players have been performing well and some players have been surprising.
