Language Database ?

First of all I am new to the game and to Genie Scout but decided to purchase from the creator as he puts in a lot of time and effort for our enjoyment and help in the game, but when I open Genie Scout I get this message,



does not affect what I need Genie Scout for but I would like for it not to happen each time I open GS, probably something completely simple that as a newbie I know nothing about, if you can put me on the right road then please do, thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any help given.

Are you on Windows 8?

when you have opened GS
click on the GS ribbon
then go to options
and see if the language database is linked to the GS folder
if not click on the folder next to it and go to the FM Genie Scout 13 folder
in it is the lang_db.dat file that you need

Thanks for your reply, the file was linked but I did notice that the load language database box was unchecked, I checked it and it now works ok, without your reply i would not have known what to look for, thanks.
