Jimmy Bullard: Back In The Business

Yes, the legend himself, Jimmy Bullard is returning to the footballing world. The man who changed football forever, without really achieving anything is back. After retiring just a few months ago due to injury, Jimmy announced to the world, or all of his twitter followers, a message that shocked the world.


Jimmy 'The Bulldog' Bullard has announced he will come back to manager. However not as a player, as a manager. There has been a lot of speculation as to where Bullard is going, which it thought a club has already taken him on. He has told Sky Sports news about his decision, and why he came back. The decision will be announced publicly in 2 days time.


Forget multi million pound signings. Forget club takeovers. This is the biggest news in 2013. In the latest sagam the odds of a club for Jimmy Bullard to obtain the managerial position at have been announced:

With the odds at 20/1 Jimmy Bullard became the manager of Altrincham FC, currently in the Conference North. It is unknown if any over offers were given to Bullard, but he happily accepted the role at Altrincham.

Altrincham FC are situated in Greater Manchester, and play in the Conference North. Founded in 1891 and playing at Moss Lane, Altrincham FC have a strong link with Manchester United, a possible reason for the move as manager for Bullard.

The Robins have not been too successful in recent years, but all could soon change. Most notably winning the play off final in 2004/2005 in order to reach the Conference National, in which they were relegated from at the end of the 2010/2011 season.

Altrincham FC are also known as the FA Cup Giant Killers, having knocked out no fewer than 16 League sides when a Non League Team, most recently Wigan Athletic in the 1994/1995 season. One of the most remembered victories though were against Blackpool, knocking them out in both 1984 and 1985.

Squad Analysis

The squad is fairly unknown, so a squad analysis is definitely needed. Especially as the club doesn't really have depth in the team.

GOALKEEPERS: Adam Reid is only young, but has no real potential, and I doubt will ever feature in the team, but Stuart Coburn is a decent keeper. I feel I need to buy one more goalkeeper, whether a first team or back up keeper, possibly to rotate with Coburn, although he is 37 and won't have long left.

RIGHT BACKS: Shaun Densmore is the only right back, so a back up is definitely needed. Densmore is one of the better players at the club though, and is only 23, so will probably feature for many years. Another signing is definitely needed though.

CENTRE BACKS: Scott Leather and Danny Hall will both be solid starters, with 4 and 5 star ability and potential. Gianluca Havern is fine for the bench, and maybe one younger player, with Carl Rodgers, Joe Coombs and Sam Grimshaw all fighting for a place on the bench or reserves.

LEFT BACKS: Matt Doughty is the only left back, and only has 1 star ability and potential, so I will need to buy one or maybe two left backs to fill in for the squad.

RIGHT MIDFIELDERS: We have no right midfielders. Slight issue, especially as I want to play the 4-1-2-1-2 diamond formation. Need to buy two for sure.

CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS: Fearon is good for the reserves, with Simon Richman and Patrick Lacy easily good enough for the bench. Lacy also has a great potential at just 18 years old, so I have high hopes for the future for him. James Laurie is only 21 but will still definitely feature in the squad.

LEFT MIDFIELDERS: Nicky Clee is the only left midfielder, with 3 and 1/2 star ability and potential, so will be alright as a rotation option, but I will need another left midfielder.

STRIKERS: Damien Reeves has a 5 star ability and potential, so will definitely star with Ryan Brooke, who also has 5 star potential, with 4 and 1/s star ability. Mitcheley is fine for the bench, as it Watmore, and I also have Ofari, who has good potential and is only 17.

How cruel do you have to be to post something like that on someone's story? He's put a lot of effort into his story, and it's been taken from him. He has a right to be frustrated, and now you're laughing? What's the need? Saying stuff like that won't be tolerated on here, and it just isn't nice. You wouldn't like it happening to you, would you? We are all supporting you. I would recommend you keep a 3 part rolling save. This means you should never lose your save unless your computer breaks down
