Wenger Leaves Arsenal

June 30th, 2012

Arsenal's manager Arsene Wenger left the club by mutual consent this morning, after a heated argument in the chairman's office. Wenger asked for more funds to sign new players, but the board refused to give him more resources. Arsene then requested his contract to be terminated. Arsenal's board will make an announcement this evening, but nothing has been heard about Wenger.

Wenger Signs For Monaco

July 5th, 2012

Arsene Wenger has signed a one-year contract with his former club Monaco FC of the 2nd division of France. After leaving Arsenal, not much was known about Wenger until today, when the club's president Dmitry Rybodovlev announced that Wenger was Monaco's new head coach.

" We believe that Wenger has what it takes to get us back to Ligue 1. He's an experienced manager and the board will fully back him up." -Rybodovlev.
Wenger at Monaco? This will be a hell of a story! Hehehe, I'll be watching mate!

New signings

I made a some moves on the transfer market, looking for players who would not only help us in Ligue 2, but also in stabilizing ourselves in Ligue 1. None of them speak French, so that will be a small problem we will have to deal with. Overall, I'm happy with all of them and I'll look forward to work with them.

Signing #1: Thomas Ince - AML

Signing #2:
Libor Kozak - ST

Signing #3:
Ilsinho - MR

Signing #4:
Aron Gunnarsson - CM

Signing #5:
Tobias Sippel - GK

Signing #6:
Nika Kvekveskiri - DR

Signing #7:
Adryan - AMC

Total: €24.5M

Transfers: Out

Adriano [Ln fee €1k p/m] - Santos(Brazil)
Nabir Dirar [Ln fee €130k p/m] - Red Bull Salzburg
Valere Germain [Loan] - Nimes Olympique
Jerome Phojo [Loan] - As Cannes
Romain Padovani [Free] - As Cannes
Wow, spending a lot! Though they are all great players and I hope that you can finish first in the Ligue 2 and challenge for a top finish in the Ligue 1 next year! Ince is great btw!
SO MUCH MUNNEH! Well, I guess Monaco are rich, so it won't hurt anyway.

Preseason? Ain't Nobody Got Time For That!

Today was the last day of preseason and boy, it wasn't pretty. First, we lost 4-1 to Lyon. Honestly, I didn't care much about this game and I'm glad we even got in the scoring sheet. The next game was against 3rd Division side Metz. We were humiliated and lost 2-0. We played like shit, and we couldn't use the new signings. Our last game was against AC Ajaccio, our feeder club from Ligue 1. We tied 1-1 thanks to Kozak. This game actually was pretty even, and it showed that as soon as all my players click, we are going to destroy everyone in this league... maybe.

seems like mr wenger made full use of his knowledge in the english market ;) make sure u keep lucas ocampos. that is a beast in the making. nice signings and good luck ;)
Great start Shanked :) Will definately be reading :P

Overall, a pretty good month considering most of my guys don't speak French and haven't played together before. It's a shame we got kicked out of the cup, we had a player sent off and they scored the winning goal in the 87th minute. Oh well, I guess you can't win everything. Only 1 loss in the league though, against 1st placed Guingamp. It was an even game, but they managed to score from a long shot.

Player of the month

The Brazilian right midfielder bagged in 4 goals and made 6 assists in 6 matches this month.
Brilliant start, but his name is Ilsinho not Llsinho

Lost to Lens again, at home. I'm starting to hate them. Other than that, nothing new, Ilsinho ripping defenses apart, Kozak banging them in. The only bad thing I've been noticing is that our defenders get nervous when we're not winning. I'm going to have a talk to them tomorrow, It's past ten and I need to go to bed.

Player of the month

It's Ilsinho, run! Scored 4 goals and made 2 assists these two months.
Great set of results and you are top of the league :D I see a promotion definately on the cards :P

7th Round

- Bajrami (10)
- Ocampos (34, 47)
- Adryan (88)
- Ocampos

First undefeated month since I took over the club, it feels great. Kozak and Ilsinho doing great as usual, but the player who caught my eye was Ocampos. Two goals in his first match for me and the kid is already impressing me. I'll play him in the next cup match and if he does well I'll move him up to bench.

Player of the month

Libor Kozak

The Czech scored 5 goals in 3 matches this month, and is proving to be one of my infamous bargains.
