Hi
I am researching a university project on communities of practice.
Communities of practice can ... be defined as a group of people, along with their shared resources and dynamic relationships, who assemble to make use of shared knowledge, in order to enhance learning and create a shared value for the group (Seukert, Von Krogh and Bach 1999: Adams and Freeman 2000.)
I have been a player of football manager for a number years (championship manager 3) and have always used forums for gathering knowledge and information, I have not always contributed though. I see fmscout as very much somewhere for players to exchange knowledge and information in a very informal way, when I got this assignment I decided to base it on fmscout.
One of the questions I need to answer is on what benefits fmscout delivers to its members. If anyone could give me some feedback then that would be great;
Why do you join fmscout?
Is it for exchanging knowledge and information or for social networking and friendship?
All the best
