does anyone know where to get the facepacks and get them to work lol, i have a macbook downloaded some face packs put them in graphics - faces folder un ticked and ticked the boxes in pref and nothing, also where can i download them from?
very easy. once you have the files in right folder, they usually have a folder for each team i .e. Manchester United (folder contains all the man utd players faces). In this folder there is a text file called something like "config.txt", open it in a text editor and its very easy to edit. All you need to do to add a new players face is active player IDs in preferences, this gives you the unique number for that player or staff in teh game. once you have this for the player you want to add a face for, download a picture of a player, store it in the faces folder where the other faces are and name the file the same as the players ID, so it may be something like "1258009.png". The open the config file in teh folder containing the image you have just stored in there, copy one of the lines of html code and paste it at the end, you will notice the line of code contains some numbers, those are the players ID it is referencing/looking up. Simply change the copied ID to your new players ID, save the file, go back to game and click "reload images" or whatever the button is called (bottom right green button of the screen). make sure you are on the player that you are adding the image for and your new face should now be there.
If that still doesnt work, upload an image of your preferences screen so we can see what is ticked and what isnt.
finally it may be because you are using a macbook, ive only ever done faces on PC's and never had a major problem, it may be something like the files are in the wrong location on your macbook or something like that.
I really do want to help you though as adding th faces in really makes a massive difference to me, i also quite enjoy making my own face packs, all adds to my enjoyment of the game.
