The Blue Heart of West London
Reports coming out of west London this morning are that unknown manager Joe Dowley has taken over as manager. The 25 year-old had been on his coaching courses and some experience at the club, but Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich has given him the chance to take the the club to new levels.
The decision has come with mixed reaction from Chelsea fans, where opinion was split on the matter. Speaking to fans outside the ground, Bryan Swanson reports.
Bryan Swanson (BS): So the two of you are outside the ground today, what do you think of the decision?
Fan #1: I think that we needed a change, Rafa was shocking for us and nobody ver wanted him here.
Fan #2: I agree, but his replacement should not be somebody with no experience whatsoever.
He has reportedly joined with a contract of £46,500 until June 2013.
It remains to be seen whether Joe Dowley will be prepared for this new job, but Chelsea will be hoping so.
