A poor month in the league, with very disappointing performances on the top of the results. We failed to get shots away in our losses and it meant we were never going to score. However, the last two results were excellent, with Orlandi picking up his first goals for the club. We did brilliant to come away from Upton Park with a win, and we have done well in the cup regardless of whether we get through.

Capital One Cup Quarter Final:

Arsenal vs Manchester City
Fulham vs Chelsea
Brighton vs Wigan
Sunderland vs Liverpool
some good results keep it up good to see brighton in the coc q/f
Spme pretty good results there Joe, great Job in the league cup. :) Wigan will be a challenge, but I'm sure that you'll get the win. Good Luck :D

Once again quite a disappointing month in the league, although we picked up a late point away at league leaders Wolves for our first draw of the season. We were unlucky most matches, apart from the the Leicester game, where we played very poorly.

Transfers

I decided to bring 3 new players, all on a free. Craig Gordon has come in to give Kuszczak some competition, David Suazo came in as backup in the striking position, and Matthew Bates, who can play all over the back, came in to strnghten the team.

Today we bring you a report of the meeting between our chief news reporter, Bryan Swanson, and Brighton manager Joe Dowley.

Bryan Swanson (BS): Good evening, Mr. Dowley.

Joe Dowley (JD): Evening.

BS: So how have you settled into management in the football league?

JD: I have found it brilliant, albeit annoying when you lose. I have made great friends among many of the other managers in the league and everyone was keen to hear of how I had come from Linfield.

BS: And what was it like managing Linfield, compared to Brighton?

JD: It's a huge difference. I used to take all the kit home and the missus would wash it before the next match. The furthest we ever got in any cup was the final of the regional cup competition.

BS: And how have you enjoyed life in Brighton?

JD: I always came here with friends as a kid, we always visited he piers and the beach, and sometimes the football. It has always sort of been home.

BS: And what are your plans for your team?

JD: I am hoping to take us up this year, and we are also having a fantastic cup run in the Capital One Cup, I just want to be the one who leads us there!

BS: Thank you very much for your time Mr. Dowley.

JD: My pleasure, Mr. Swanson.
Nice interview!
