ultimatums?

Has anyone ever had an ultimatum responded to positively, e.g not getting sacked lol?
Because I've always been sacked no matter how high my reputation as a manager or how well I've done with the club (such as getting hereford to the prem and still got sacked with ultimatum).
I know that it has to do with how reasonable the request is aswell but im just curious whether anyone hasnt been sacked.

usually my requests are to get better training facilities and youth setup, and usually as the club does better they improve em. and the stadium as well, if i fill it up quite well they extend it a bit per season.

so i have not often gotten an ultimatum. but when i have i have saved the game and tried to go for it. never worked =P

haha yeah thats what i meant, i have saved it and tried an ultimatum just to see what would happen but ive always just got sacked aswell lol
