Lippitt was appauled by this and after the match went into the boardroom and pleaded with the board of directors to go professional to increase the calibre of player they could attract and training every day would help his team gain promotion like they want. The Board of Directors agreed and said they will turn professional at the beginning of next season.

Saturday 19th January

Brakes bounce Back

Brakes 2-0 Gosport Borough
Giddings (pen 31)
Spencer (76)
Brakes have bounced back from the shock 4-1 defeat by Hemel Hampstead by destroying Gosport 2-0 but they had a massive twenty one shots at goal to Gosports two. Lippitt went on to say 'this is a tem that can win promotion. We were utterly awful last time out and they wont do that again. We have just parted with £50,000 for Goal Keeper Laurie Walker from rivals Kettering Town and look forward to putting him straight in the squad.' Lippitt however if you noticed did not say he would be in the starting line up that people remains to be seen.

Tuesday 22nd January

Brakes smash Frome as they stengthen there grip on the playoff place

Frome Town 1-3 Brakes
Spencer (15)
Adeyinka (21)
Hutchinson (60)

Saturday 26th January
Brakes 0-3 Chesham United

Season Defining Match on the cards!

Brakes head into this match knowing a win will pressure the top team Hitchin Town who could still be caught. A win will put daylight between the chasing playoff pack and Brakes themselves too. So a lot to play for.
Brakes have suffered another heavy loss and Lippitt has said its time to hit the transfer market.

Brakes charge for the playoffs continue despite two big losses against teams that Leamington should have beaten so manager Jason Lippitt has said he has £90,000 left to spend and it will be spent on players to help them get promoted.
Great story so far keep it up Jason :)

Big Month for Brakes

Leamington Brakes hit a road bump in the month of February. The loss to Hitchin means that they were only going to be going for the playoffs but Hitchin have hit finacial trouble and might lose 10 points which would bring the Southern League wide open. It remains to be seen if that actually happens or Hitchin Town find a way out of this mess. Brakes then drew with Cambridge and won in the Southern League Cup.

Top of the Table Clash to start the month

Saturday 2nd February
Just before this match Jamie Griffiths has signed from promotion rivals Kettering town for £65k. The midfielder started his career at Ipswitch Town, he unfortunatly made no appearances until going on loan to Plymouth Argyle where he made 9 appearances before moving to Kettering Town on a free transfer. This season he has made 28 appearances scoring two goals but setting up 10 so Brakes manager Lippitt was understandably happy and said he will go straight into the team for the match against top of the table Hitchin Town.
Hitchin Town 1-0 Brakes
Brakes were awful in the first half but the second half was a mega improvement and could have had 3 or 4 but Hopkinson struggled infront of goal again.

Saturday 9th February
Cambridge City 0-0 Brakes
Another match where Leamington have failed to score and Lippitt must surely now want to go in for a striker to try and stop this rutt.
Saturday 16th February

Purcell signs for £55,000

Brakes have today completed the signing of George Purcell from Tonbridge Angels. Purcell who signed for £55,000 is said to be looking forward to getting promoted with the Brakes.

Southern League Cup Quarter Final

Swindon Supermarine(S1C) 1-3 Brakes(SP)
Hutchinson (53)
Ifill (83)
Spencer (90)
So after Swindon shocking Brakes with a equiliser, Brakes got the victory they needed and they deserved.

Even with a poor month Brakes are still in the Playoff hunt and might be the title hunt depending on the effect of Hitchin town going into Administration

Yeah but no points deduction yet but i feel its coming
Now I have to say I don't mind a bit of LLM but this is very impressive. You must have a lot of patience to be sticking at this although it does all seem to be going nicely for you at the moment. Long may that continue and I hope you manage to get that automatic promotion spot.
Brakes .League 2 soon :P good job jason

Brakes Back In the Title Hunt

Saturday 2nd March
Brakes 0-0 Redditch United
After 28 shots on goal to Redditch's 5 Brakes could still not find a way past the keeper. Lippitt needs to get these together or they face losing a playoff place too.
Tuesday 5th March

Brakes Sign Klukowski

Yan Klukowski today sealed a move to Leamington Brakes. Klukowski who is part English and part polish signed for the team because he truly beleives Brakes will gain promotion. Brakes have a coup in Yan as he was playing in the Conference but has moved two divisions lower to play for Leamington. Supported Chairman said that Lippitt is doing really well to sign good higher division players and they look forward to more.

Wednesday 6th March

Brakes capitalize on Hitchin Town's Situation

Brakes today signed striker John Frendo from Hitchin Town. The Financially stricken club currently top the Southern Premier League and is in stunning form so will boost Lippitt's striker options as Spencer, Adeyinka and Topkinson have struggled. Purnell will come good everyone knows it too.

Saturday 9th March

Brakes 4-1 Bideford
Adeyinka (14)
Griffiths (25)
Adeyinka (32)

Wednesday 13th March

Three to watch in Youth Intake

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/805/leamingtonyouthcandidat.png/

Leamington Brakes have had there first youth intake and it looks very good with three guys to watch out for. Jack Malone, Nick Saunders and Gerry Keegan look good solid prospects, Saunders might even jump straight into the first team but that remains to be seen. Lippitt has signed all the youngsters because there is no youth team at the moment but Saunders goes straight into the first team.

Saturday 16th March
Bashley 1-2 Brakes
McKimmie (57 o.g)
Klukowski (67)
Brakes pick up another win. Nick Saunders made his debut and performed brilliantly Klukowski hit his first goal for the club and Lippitt was extremely happy. Lippitt also went on record to state that Hitchin should have 10 points deducted.

Saturday 23rd March

Southern League Cup Semi Final 1st Leg

Cambridge City 0-0 Brakes
It was a edgy game as Lippitt's men would have the advantage for the second leg being at home for it. It will be interesting to see who starts the next league game with the League Cup semi Final 2nd leg in a weeks time.

Wednesday 27th March
Brakes 0-0 Barwell
Awful display by brakes but lucky to escape witha draw and still be 5 points clear of dropping out of the playoff places.

Lower League Transfer Deadline Day

Brakes Boss Jason Lippitt is looking for a Midfielder and a 5th striker for rotation options. The first signing is Ryan Amoo on a Pay as you play deal. He will get £500 a game for the remainder of the season. Amoo who was found by Aston Villa has had some League 2 experience but other than that has been going from club to club just playing odd games. Next in of 3 is Chris Blackburn from AFC Telford of the Blue bet Square Premier League. This is two tiers above Leamington and the former AFC Telford Captain has took a gamble dropping down divisions but say that Brakes are ran so much better and manager Jason Lippit only needed 5 minutes to convince him to commit to the Warwickshire Club. The last signing for Lippitt is Jeff Goulding from Cheltenham Town of the Npower League 2. He has been around the Blue Square Premier and Npower League 2 for a while now and his experience will make a deadly 5 attackers.

Saturday 30th March

Southern League Cup Semi Final 2nd Leg

Brakes 0-0 Cambridge City (Brakes lose 2-1 on Pens)

Leamington are out of the league cup and on that display might end up not being promoted. They were woeful in-front of goal but Lippitt has to be proud of a team that was given no chance at the start of the season. The League is the priority for Brakes and will really be going at it now until the end of the season.

Brakes got away with it on a wet Spring day at the Windmill ground as Brakes have now nearly secured there playoff place as Hitchin Town's Financial situation worsens.

Lippitt Signs New Contract

Leamington Brakes manager Jason Lippitt has just signed a Two Year extension to stay at The New Windmill Ground. He claims this club is going places and getting to the Football League is the priority for the English Manager. Lippitt's contract Extension left Ton Hutchinson, Centre Back at Brakes very happy and then also signed his own contract saying Jason Lippitt is going to be instrumental in the development of the football club.

Playoff Month for The Leamington Brakes

Brakes Manager Jason Lippitt has declared this month as the biggest month of his life. Leamington are on the verge of the playoffs they have one game of the regular season to go and then the playoffs. Lippit gave a interview albeit a very quick one today.
Lippitt - This is a huge finals 3 or 4 games for the club of Leamington. We are going professional next season no matter what division this club is in. It will though hopefully be the Blue Square North or South.

Saturday 4th May

Final Day Of The Season

Bedford Town 1-2 Brakes
Frendo (1)
Jackson (28)

Saturday 11th May

Southern Premier League Playoff Semi-Final Leg 1

Hemel Hampstead Town 0-0 Brakes
Brakes take on Hemel Hampstead in the First Leg of the Southern Premier League Playoff. Lippitt is bullish about his chances and said its up to the strikers who have scored loads this season to finish it off now. Leamington had 14 shots on goal and only 3 on target. Expect Lippitt to make a few changes.

Full Time: All Square

Brakes come out with a 0-0 draw which means Advantage Brakes in my opinion.

Tuesday 14th May

Southern Premier League Playoff Semi-Final Leg 2

Brakes 2-0 Hemel Hampstead Town (2-0 Agg)
Blackburn (66)
Hopkinson (78)

Leamington Brakes are now two legs away from Blue Square Football next season. They dominated Hemel Hampstead all match and Chirs Blackburn's first goal for Brakes with a bullet header set them on the way. Hopkinson's first time shot settled it on the 78th minute. Brakes now play Chippenhan Town in the final.

Saturday 18th May

Southern Premier League Playoff Final Leg 1

Chappenham Town 0-1 Brakes
Hopkinson (14)

Brakes take a priceless 1-0 away victory back to The Windmill Ground for the second leg. Hopkinson was awesome but Right Back Jimmy Sangare got man of the match.

Tuesday 21st May

Southern Premier League Playoff Final Leg 2: Judgement Day

Brakes 4-1 Chippenham Town (5-1 agg)
Brakes head into this game 1-0 up with the away goal. Chippenham are awful away from home whereas Brakes play a lot better in-front of there home fans and with a attendance of over 1,000 expected at The New Windmill Ground it will be a wonderful day.
Frendo (25)
Hutchinson (48)
Frendo (50)
Frendo (54 pen)

Leamington Brakes have won PROMOTION to the Blue Square North. Brakes have John Frendo to thank after a sensational Hat-trick against Chippenham Town. Brakes destroyed Chippenham in the second leg in which a bumper crowd of 1,018 people showed up, that is better than most Blue Square Bet Premier League teams, and John Frendo has shown why Leamington Spent money on him. Brakes will now want to secure the contract of Tashan Adeyinka. But a successful season for Lippitt and his men.

The next day Leamington Brakes decided to increase the capacity of The New Windmill Ground by a further 1,500 people to 3,000 people. The expansion would be finished before the start of the new season. Under Soil Heating was also given the OK which makes it easier for matches to go ahead rather that be Postponed. This actually also brings The New Windmill Ground upto the standards required of the Blue Square North/South.[/h2]

Brakes held there Annual Awards Dinner last night. Manager Jason Lippitt was first to be congratulated. Lippitt dressed in a shirt, trousers and bow tie led the club to promotion to the Blue Square North/South Division. Lippitt was given the club achievement Award for leading the club to promotion. When Lippitt accepted his award he said a few words.

Lippitt: I want to thank everyone for this award. The squad past and present deserve a lot of credit, because without them we would not have won promotion. I would like to especially thank Johnathon Kurrant for all his help as player/coach. The next award is the Top goalscorer award and that goes to departing man Tashan Adeyinka. Unfortunately he decided not to turn up today but would like to thank him for the goals he scored this season and would welcome him back with open arms if he was to decided to come back.
