Good Month For Brakes As They Stretch Lead Further

The Blue Square North title is getting ever closer for Leamington after a brainstorming month. They only played three games but them three games resulted in 2 wins and a draw.

This month we take a look at who has been playing the best and who has had the most appearances. There will be a explanation at the end of next month to who is in the running for Player Of The Season again. But it looks a two horse race. I have highlighted the players who have scored double figures. Look out for the R/L Midfielder.

Saturday 1st February
Nantwich Town 0-3 Brakes
Redwood (67)
Klukowski (pen 78)
Adeyinka (80)

Wednesday 5th February
Brakes 2-1 Worcester City
Redwood (45)
Moore (79)
A huge win against the second team in the division Moore's goal came on the third time of asking with Worcester City proving stern opposition.

Saturday 8th February
Brakes 1-1 Tamworth
Morrison (12)
Awesome Month for Brakes no matches now until next month which gives them 3 weeks off and chance for new signing Derek Riordan to get fit.

League Table

11 points clear and it will take a super human collapse for Brakes not to win the league by a country mile.
Awesome results, thats the league pretty much won by now.
You'll win the league fine mate, don't worry :P

Lippitt Hits 100 Games In Charge Of Brakes

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/708/70759100001748194909227.jpg/

Leamington Brakes manager Jason Lippitt today takes charge of his 100th match with Brakes. Fans and media outlets like The Observer, BBC WM and The Non-League Paper love him.

Chairman Alex Goddard has gone on record saying 'Jason is one of the good guys, he has an amazing sense of humour and is awesome at getting players to drop down divisions to play for Brakes.'

Leamington Captain Tom Hutchinson wrote in this weeks Captain column in the Program 'Jason is the catalyst to Brakes success, he has bought in players like Adeyinka, Clinton Morrison, My brother Eddie and Klukowski. These players are the reason the team is doing so well and we are going to give Jason a performance to remember against Colwyn Bay.'

Lippitt's record speaks for itself, 60% win rate and 177 goals scored in 100 games. Brakes fanzine has said that they expect Lippitt to hit 200 games easily and are dreaming about going to the Football League.

Safe to say at the Moment Lippitt almost seems untouchable, but 3 or 4 bad results and in football as you all know it changes!
Great milestone and great update.

Boa Morte Signs As Lippitt Bolsters International Experiance

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/708/luisboamorte2.jpg/
Leamington Brakes have signed Luis Boa Morte on a free transfer from Doncaster Rovers. Boa Morte who is at the young age of 36 has been signed on a 2 year deal and is looking to help get Brakes into the football league. Jason Lippitt intends on using him as a left midfielder on a permanent basis.

Boa Morte has had a wonderful career, starting in Portugal for Sporting Lisbon in 1994. Arsenal quickly saw potential and in 1997 he signed for them for £1.8m. He spent 3 years at Arsenal but only went on to make 22 appearances before being branded by the media as lazy so was sold for 500k to Southampton where in 18 appearances played very well and Fulham then in the Championship forked out £1.7m for him, He perfomed brilliantly in his first season at Fulham score 18 goals in 39 appearances.

After 7 seasons at Fulham, West Ham paid £5m to Fulham but he didn't really have the effect that West Ham wanted so he went to Greece, South Africa and then Doncaster before joining Brakes where he is expected to see his career out.
The 'young age' of 36, eh? Well, I suppose it is true compared to Giggs :P

Player Profile: Brakes Captain

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/443/c67article2054092bodyar.jpg/

Today we look at Brakes captain marvel Tom Hutchinson and a little insight and profile on him.
Born in Kingston upon Thames, London, Hutchinson began his career at non-League Sutton United, then moved to Fulham, but without making any first team appearances left the club and signed for Scottish side Dundee in 2002. He left the club in 2006, having scored once against Aberdeen, and dropped in to non-league football back in England when he signed for Woking of the Conference National. Hutchinson signed for Lewes in October 2010 before moving on to the club of his birthplace, Kingstonian, in February 2011.

After 42 appearances and 6 goals he decided to have one last throw of the dice moving to Leamington Brakes on a free transfer. He quickly established himself into the first team and won the coveted Fans Player Of The Year in his first season. He was appointed captain at the start of this season and has not looked back. Aslong as Brakes do not faulter he will also lead them to the Blue Square North Title this season.
Great signing in LBM and your captain is a legend :P Keep marching on, the BSP awaits!
