Piast, a team with a goal

Piast, A team in the top division of Polish Football, they have a new 10k all seater stadium built in 2011, this is there 1st season back in the top flight and have only had a 3 seasons in the top league in their whole history

their board want you to avoid relegation in the 1st season in charge, after looking through my team I feel a top half finish is possible and also hopfully I want to beat the odds and win the Polish FA cup, all this may change as I start playing and see how my team preforms when it matters

My defence is solid enough and this is my leading defender to start the season

My midfield has depth but no main star so my aim is to find a star who will lift us to the next level, I have signed a few players for Midfield, this is the person im resting my hopes on, hes young but Ive had him in the past and i know he will preform given the chance despite his age

the attack is decent, im only playing 1 up front but still have 2 good strikers and a couple of young players who i will be giving a chance to at some point in the season

pre season is over and im happy with how my team has preformed, for the moment maybe my players do not understand what im expecting as my nationality is English and Norwegian so im learning Polish as i play the season, it is not ideal but starting in a different country its expected

Here is a list of players in and players out for pre season, I have cut that wage bill from 17k pw to 12k pw which will be a help to the finances

Mid way point of season Review

I started the season well, my team has been strong in the league, mainly due to amazing work rate and team work, my defence is playing amazing together, I actually think i can push for Europe in 2nd half of season

As you can see from Fixtures my team is putting good results together and losing games only by the odd goal, as I am expected to fight against relegation I am very proud of the league table
In the FA cup I was shocked as I played a team from the division below and was out played from start to finish.

I have signed a striker since the season started due to my strikers not scoring many goals so im hoping this player could push a few goals for me

Well guys... Piast got taken over by a new Board in March when I was sitting in 9th place, The Board decided to take the club in a new direction and i got sacked!!! club expected to avoid relegation, i was 5 points off Europe and i got SACKED, 1st time that situation has ever happened to me.
