Northampton 2-3 Watford
For most of the first half, Watford owned the game without reward. However, at the 43 minute mark, Almen Abdi clashed with the Northampton Goalkeeper, Lee Nicholls, earning his team a Penalty. Daniel Pudil put it calmly away in the center of the net, sending Nicholls the wrong way. Their lead wouldn't last, as Akinfenwa was given a chip pass that he blasted in to the top left corner from outside the net, against the run of play. In the second half, the Hornet's reiterated their dominance, Forestieri struck a nice shot at 59 minutes, 20 minutes later he repeated the goal almost to the point, putting Watford up by 2. In the last 10 minutes, Northampton began to increase their level of attack, managing to score another, this time through the touch of Louis Moult.
Watford 1-0 Swindon
Fernando Forestieri took Swindon by the scruff of the neck early in the home fixture, putting three shots on target in the first 16 minutes, his third shot, ending up in the back of the net. From then on, Swindon picked up the pace and Watford seemed to play a more defensive game. In a hideous 57 minute tackle, Simon Ferry was put on the bench with no replacement, a red card held in the air.
Watford 0-3 Birmingham
Watford's League cup dreams came crashing to an end in their biggest loss of the season to date. Lovenkrands put the Blues ahead early, with a goal 12 minutes in. Marlon King got his head on the ball from the corner at 65 minutes to make it 2-0 before David Murphy put the win beyond doubt with an 80 minute long-shot. Many Watford fans left early, frustrated with the loss, but exited for the season ahead.

Stoke City 1 - 0 Watford
The FA Cup proved predictable, but still, disappointing for Hornet fans this season. In their first and only fixture, they drew Stoke City at the Britannia, meaning most of the Watford fans who made the journey were quite pessimistic. The game was, for the most part, very dull, but only 12 minuets in, Kenwyne Jones scored the only goal of the game. What was most frustrating, was that Watford seemed to perform almost the equal to Stoke, only going slightly behind on shots and possession.
