Cavani + Falcao = Win?

Hi lads im pretty new to this but was just seeing if any of you have used Falcao and Cavani together as a a front pairing? I had a Premiership save and Chelsea baught Cavani and he was incredible! (40 goal a season star) After seeing this, i started a Real Madrid save and bought Cavani in the first window. I went through with him and Benzema and came second. Cavani wasn't as godlike as he was at Chelsea yet he was still a mile above Benzema. Now I'm aiming big, going for La Liga title + champions league by buying players like Bale. I was wondering if you guys had used this partnership of Falcao and Cavani and if it worked or not? Is t worth selling Benzema for Falcao (baring in mind he's 28). Any replies appreciated. Thanks.

I have not used the partnership of Falcao and Cavani before. You can only have such a pairing at huge, loaded clubs and I am not a fan of huge, loaded clubs

However obviously that is definitely a killer pairing like you said, and it would definitely be worth selling Benzema for Falcao.

That's just my opinion anyway

I have this pairing at the moment and they play very well together but at times the 1 plays brilliantly and the other plays well but doesnt score.

I am managing Man Utd and with Van Persie ageing and injury prone and Rooney also for some reason also gets injured quite alot I bought Falcao first .Initially I bought Cavani just as back up but Rooney and Van Persie had long term injuries and I needed a top quality striker to fill their boots and after extensive scouting Cavani seem the best bet ,at first I rarely used him but than after 1 or 2 good games I began using him all the time and his simply awesome,he outscored Falcao in his first full season and finished as the top goal scorer with 29 goals in the league and was Europe's top marksman despite me being knocked out in the quarterfinal stage of the Champions League .


I play him as a Deep Lying Forward even though his best position is Poacher same as Falcao and he plays brilliantly ,perhaps deep lying forward gels well with poacher ..not sure..

Anyway they certainly make a awesome pairing ...Ciao
