Why Arsenal?

Arsenal are my favourite team and I have supported them since birth. I can only remember seeing them lifting the FA Cup in 2005 as I was too young to remember the rest. I want to take them back to new heights of glory and I want to do it in style. It will take time but it is possible and I can make them the most feared club in Europe once again.

I will start the story tomorrow properly as I have school and I hate staying up too late. Thankyou.

Uhh..when were they the most feared club in Europe?? :P

Good luck anyway mate, I'll be following. :)

Wenger Resigns

The greatest manager in Arsenals history has resigned as manager of the club. Wenger is said to be upset to be leaving the club which he holds so close to his heart but he is close to retirement and wants to leave the team in the best hands possible and has made his feelings known to the board. He wants to wish all the players well and he wishes them the best of luck for next season. He also wants to thank the fans for all of the support they gave him over the years. Past and present players have made their feelings known:

@RVP Great boss will be missed #legend

@TheRomfordPele Best manager ever good look to the new manager

@Frimpong_DENCH Cracking guy taught me a lot #DENCHMANAGER

The board have looked at the Manager Wenger wants to replace him and are looking to contact him in the near future.

Shock as Arsenal name Wells

The Arsenal board have taken Arsene Wengers advice by appointing Arsenal trainee analyst Matt Wells as the new manager of Arsenal FC. This comes as a shock to fans as Matt who has been working at the club for 2 years as a football analyst for Wenger. Arsene Wenger gad been giving him advice on how to coach and gave him the opportunity to gain his Pro license. Matt will attend a press conference later on to introduce him to the media and to the fans.

The First Day

With Wenger gone I had to create my own new legacy as a fan of the club the first thing I wanted to do was win just one trophy. Just winning the league cup may start a revival and bring us back to the good times. I wanted to build a squad capable of beating United and City to the title and finishing above S#urs.
I met Steve Bould for the first time and we sat down and discussed the team and staff.

“I don’t think we should change much in terms of staff but we need more depth in the squad to compete”.
“Your right Matt and I believe we should sign at least 4 players to increase our depth”.
“I reckon if we sign a quality CB, a new striker, a backup CM and a good GK we will achieve success this year”.
“Yes we can go over some plans on who we should sign and make sure these are done before the start of the season”.

I then left Steve to go and meet the players who were shocked to see me as their new boss.

“Look lads, I need every single one of you to work very hard this season for me, yourselves and the fans. We have struggled to compete in recent years but I will change that and I need all of your cooperation and backing to help me and you achieve success.”

I then had a quick look around the training ground were I met the chairman and we discussed budgets. I was to be given £23M for transfers so I needed to sell and buy to build this squad again.
I was then told to head the Emirates for my meeting with the fans and the media…. Sigh.
This is a massive shock, you have made about 8 storys in the last 2-3 days,
however, i wish you luck, please stick with this story.
I will thanks

Meeting the Press

I took my seat to a quiet press room.
“Errr so who exactly are you”.

“Well I was a trainee analyst for the club and Mr Wenger helped me gain my coaching badges and put full trust in me to take over his team”.

“Who are you looking to sign to add quality to your team”.

“I’m not prepared to discuss individuals but as you know we are linked with so many players thanks to you the English press”.

“It’s all well and good saying you will make changes but you need silverware soon as the fans are becoming distressed”.

“Well yes we need a trophy soon and I will make that happen but I need patience from the fans to help me achieve that target. As I am a fan of the club too I feel the need for a trophy is more important than anything. Thank you very much that is it for today”.

I then walked out of the room and my PA said well done for being so calm. I then headed around the ground to meet some of the staff around the ground to introduce myself properly, especially to Shelly the cleaner :D.
Good luck, hope you stick with it.
