Luciano Spalletti set for Lyon post
It's pretty much official, ex-Zenit St. Petersburg manager Luciano Spalletti is inches away from becoming Lyon's new man in charge. In an interview, Spalletti said he was happy with the current squad, and not many changes would be needed, the speculation will be completed in the next couple of hours. Spalletti turns back time!
In a strange sum of events it has only been made even stranger by the fact that Luciano Spalletti is once again manager of Zenit St. Petersburg! He announced in an official press conference that it was a huge mistake leaving Zenit and wanted to return as quick as he could. However the warm welcome the board gave him when he returned was far different from the hostile atmosphere the crowed portrayed across to him when he turned up there. This now means Lyon are still in a managerial crisis and will have to re-interview all their candidates. This is Ben Dover reporting for Sky Sports News.
