Nice to see that there is still somebody reading my story :P
11th February 2011

Dear Diary,
My 11th birthday was the best day of my life. I saw my first Dartford game as they were coming to Tonbridge. I'm already gone to several Premier League or International games but it was the first time I was seeing the team where my dad began his career and that I support since I'm born.

There was a bit more than 400 peoples attending the game but we were only 13 Darts, and it was funny as I knew quite a few Tonbridge fans like my schoolmates Paul and Jim. If the Angels had won the game they would have probably reminded me this until the end of the year but we finally won with a class performance. It was an incredible game with seven goals and a penalty missed by O'Brien. He missed an opportunity of getting a hat-trick but still had an incredible game and was my man of the match with also a great assist for Dixion.
Derek who was just coming back from holiday also scored two making him leader of the goalscorer chart with 19 realisations. The other goal was from Pirrie who signed me an autograph. Alex Sonwild and Miguel Medina did it too, I still can't believe it.

Even Boreham Wood did me a present by drawing with Salisbury who are now 7 points behind us. This season is incredible and dad said he will probably by tickets for the game at Princes Park on his own birthday! It will be against Boreham with four games to go and it could be one of the most important game of the season or even of the club history. Now I'm going to bed, good night.

Louis O.

P.S
Dad manage to film each goals and he uploaded a video. You should watch it, we were just behind Tonbridge goal when we scored three in the first half :)

That post is a very interesting one, definitely something different from the rest. Keep it up Alex :)

Two Months Later..

February and March update

The Results

December and January were two hard months, so winning all our game in February was quite a relief. And this meant that we managed to qualify for FA Trophy semi-final. But unfortunately our good run of form didn't last and we couldn't beat a fourth Blue Square Bet Premier team in a row.

League Standings

So we secured a place in the top 5 at the start of March, and there is five games remaining to stay ahead of Salisbury.

Awards

In February I was named Manager of the Month for the third time. I'm surely going to be Manager of the Year!
Yay, it's back!

Where's my croissant?

Dartford are Champions!

http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Sport/Pix/pictures/2013/2/25/1361820781414/michael-laudrup-008.jpg

Just two days after their boring draw with Boreham Wood (0-0), where three more players joined the injuries list (7 players unavailable for today's game), the Darts dominated Eastbourne Boro (3-0) and become champions of Blue Square Bet South as Salisbury failed to beat Farnborough (1-1). There is still three games remaining but as said Alex Sonwild they can now relax.
"It was a very stresfull season, which can seem easy as we are top since September, but was very hard with long periods of doubt. Now all the team will finally play without pressure and enjoy the end of a great season." The Darts gaffer later added: "I can't wait for upcoming seasons, now we want more challenges, and more titles!"

All the players are, obviously, pleased and they are according a big responsibility ro their manager in the team success. An other key man to the team was young striker Derek Dixion who scored his 26 goal today, opening the score after 37 minutes with a close rang header. Tom O'Brien doubled Dartford's lead with a deftly executed finish on 55 minutes and a Ben Fulham own-goal completed Dartford journey after 79 minutes.
Well done on the title :)

Player of the Year Shortlist announced

Three of the ten players are in my side. They are with no surprise Derek Dixion, Dominic Murphy and Richard Spring and I really think one of them should win the award. But as I can't vote for a player of my team I will give my point to my favorite non-Dartford player: Marcelo Contreras from Boreham Wood. I'm trying to sign him since November and he can easly compete in Blue Square Bet Premier so I will continue trying.

Before this shortlist was anounced we had to play our first game as champions and it was a against Dorxhester. Nothing special in the game, the fans made alot of noise and everyone was happy. Pirrie gave us the lead after 17 minutes with a nice effort from the edge of the aera. It was dissapointing to see them score when there was only eight minutes left but the team moral is still (very) high so I won't complain more.
Hope one of your players gets Player of the Year :D
