Portsmouth FC Tycoon Takoever

I am new to this so not too sure how this is going to go but here goes:
I have taken over at my beloved Pompey and i am going to try to get them back to the BPL and i am hoping to get a tycoon takeover to help me on the way.
I played some friendlies:
Portsmouth 2-1 Portsmouth Reserves
I started off my Portsmouth Career with a 2-1 win over Portsmouth Reserves with Centre Back Gabor Gyepes getting both off the goals both were headers from Liam Walker corners.
Tamworth 0-3 Portsmouth
My next game as Pompey boss was fantastic; we won 3-0 away at Tamworth. Harris opened the scoring, another youngster Jack Maloney doubled our lead and another Gabor Gyepes goal rounded things off with his 3rd goal in 2 games.
Portsmouth 0-4 West Brom
I knew it wouldn’t last but against a Premier League team so I’m not too disheartened and neither are the lads because no-one expected us to win.
Torquay 1-0 Portsmouth
I was not happy with the boys after this game they all went in expecting a stroll in the park which is never the right thing to do and I’ve made sure it will never happened again.
Portsmouth 4-1 Chelsea Reserves
I was really pleased with how the boys bounced back from that 1-0 defeat last time out to beat Chelsea Reserves by such a big margin. I was really proud of the lads. Jed Wallace opened the scoring and David Connolly added another 2 before halftime, and 4 minutes after the restart Johannes Ertl rounded off a resounding win.
Havant & Waterlooville 0-1 Portsmouth
In this annual friendly between these affiliated clubs Portsmouth came out on top with club captain Johannes Ertl scoring the only goal of the game with a header from point blank range.
TAKEOVER COMPLETED
Great news for Portsmouth Football Club as they have been took over by Brazilian Business tycoon Paul Odone and he has invested£2.4 million into the club of which I have got £1.1 million to spend on transfers.

Yes it's a nice idea. You could improve your grammar a bit, but that isn't a huge problem. The thing you should focus on the most, like Blue said, is graphics and presentation. The nice it looks the more people will want to read it.

for some reason whenever I am about to sign someone it says transfer could not be confirmed does anyone know what this means? I've not even reached my amount of loans yet either!

How do i take pictures guys? I've tried print screen but it won't paste

Just played 1st competitive game against Northampton in the Capital One Cup and we lost on penalties. Not a very happy gaffer. But we did play well and I was proud of them but we lost so I was a bit disheartened. Akinfenwa opened the scoring for them within 3 mins but Pompey hit back with a stunning strike by David Connolly on 25 minutes. Gives us the opportunity to focus elswhere now though.

OK, if this is well written I would love to read it, but
A)Hold alt and press F9 to take a screenshot, you can find it in Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2013/Screenshots
B)Write some detailed match reports like the one you just did, or monthly updates using BB Codes to improve the presentation
C)Sort out your grammar to make it easier to read, because if people can read it, they will read it.

Go on to the writing guide on the FM13 storys page and scroll down and there is a link to a page with codes on such as these:


You copy and paste the link type thing underneath it and paste it into your story.
It helps break the story up and make it more readable.
Also try to include paragraphs to make the story more easy to read.
Keep this up though this can be a quality read.

Sheffield United 2-1 Portsmouth

Not the greatest start to my Portsmouth career in the league, suffering to the hands of Sheffield United. I know i said this for the Northampton game but we deserved to win. Honestly. So I'm not to unhappy with the boys as we played well and Sheffield United are a good team, and we made them come from behind to beat us.
Pompey struck first through Gabor Gyepes' header following a mistake from Blades keeper Danny Coyne with 23 minutes on the clock.But oly 5 minutes after Sheffield United equalised through Richard Cresswell. And Ian Porter clinched the 3 points with a deftly executed finish on 76 minuted which proved to be the winner.

Bad news for Pompey as their key center-half Gabor Gyepes has suffered a wrist injury and is likely to be out for 11 days to 2 weeks

I'M REALLY ANNOYED NOW GUYS WHENEVER I GO TO SIGN SOMEONE IT SAYS TRANSFER COULD NOT BE CONFIRMED.
AND...
I CAN ONLY OFFER PLAYERS WAGES OF £90 a week AND I'VE TRIED ADJUSTING MY BUDGET BUT IT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING SO I'VE GOT £1M TO SPEND ON PLAYERS AND £20K WAGE BUDGET BUT CAN'T BUY ANYONE!

Ok so the way to put a picture off the internet is... when you are writing you see some little icons at the top right? And if you click the one that looks like a photograph. Then you go onto google images or whatever imaging system you prefer. If on google images, click on the view original image button thing. Then, where you see this e.g http://www.fmscout.com/q-8386-Portsmouth-FC-Tycoon-Takeover.html, you paste that into the little photograph pop up thing.

However, unlucky to lose. Just remember Sheffield United aren't in debt. If you had the money Portsmouth could sign pretty much some of the best players in the league.
Portsmouth are in an transfer embargo so when you get a takeover it will tell you Portsmouth somthing enforce transfer embargo. So when your out it will say Portsmouth owners lift transfer embargo.Also I think you can sign free transfers. I'm not too sure.
