2-3-2-1-2 Anyone tried this tactic

I have tried the same tactic with Wolfsburg with huge succes. Finished third first season and won second season scoring over 80 goals in 34 games both years. However I cant make it work with Monaco. Monaco is by far the best team in French second division, so I dont really understand why it doesnt work. With wolfsburg I had 20+ shots almost every game, creating tons of chances. But with Monaco I have only scored 29 goals in 25 matches conceding 24.. The defensive part was also a problem with Wolfsburg, but it didnt matter that much, cause I scored so many goals. But with Monaco the defence is a problem cause my team cant make any chances. So does anyone have any good ideas on what do change to make it work? Anyone has tried this tactic?

Different styles of play in different countries, that's why it won't work. Also, Wolfsburg will have more quality players than Monaco, if you try to implicate really tricky tactics into a team that aren't that good (Second Division) They'll find it hard to understand, and it'll take longer for them to work it out, until you get Monaco going steady in the Top Flight, I suggest using simple tactics ie 4-4-2, 4-5-1. Then try your tactic which in my opinion looks really good, and I may try it out ;D Hope I helped.

I think you should maybe set your DM to an Anchor Man as they seem to be more defensive in my experience. Plus maybe think about trying not to play the offside trap. Once you're in a higher division more experienced and talented players will break the trap more often. Especially if they have a bit of pace.

Set the wingbacks to defensive and play narrower through the middle that should do the trick ...
