Hello all,
Can someone explain how a network game flows? I understand the how to connect, make a game, select as server, etc. However, I am trying to understand the concept of how it works. questions below.
1. If I am browsing a certain day during pre-season for players, reading news, or playing a pre-season game, are other players on the network frozen on that day until I have completed my actions?
2. Can people join a network game late? so If I kept a server running on the weekends, can people come and go?
3. what if 2 coaches teams are to face each other and one coach is no online? also, would this affect other peoples' calendar day because the 2 x coaches couldnt play that day? ( I hope that made sense)
4. how does a player vs player game usual run? Is it the same as versus the PC accept controled by a real person? for example, pauses, and only viewing key events based on game preferences.
5. are network games fun? I love the game even against the computer.
Thanks to anyone that clear up some of my confusion.
Phil
