Well irshad, welcome to the site.

1st of all, I think when u like a player and you might like to buy him. Then just buy him because thats how you will learn about players and the game.


i havent seen skrtel in fm, but in real life hes quite decent. But i dont know how good positioning and concentration he has. because they can be vital. also having decent amount of pace and acceleration can be good.

But if you want a good CB look for these abilities:

Tackling
Positioning
Team Work
Work Rate
Concentration
Marking
Heading
Strength
Anticipation


extra stats:
Technique
Pace/acc
Composure
Passing
Determination
Decisions

Theres a good CB in Wolfsburg, Barzagli something something, anyways hes Italian so you can't miss him, bought him for my West Ham, around 12 mil...Also Miranda from Sao Paulo, great in FM08, probably great now, and rather cheap...

Btw Red, are there any other abilities that exist and you haven't mentioned them???:)

*edit: I need good ST that can play as a lone striker, similar type to Dean Asthon, because everyone wants him, and i can sell it for more that 20 mil, already got those kinds of offers and it is March. So i need good replacement, also one young promising ST, I'm thinking Vedad Ibisevic or Alex Teixeira (something like that)... so any good advice???

marquinhos from palmieras is pretty good for a lone striker or maybe oscar cardozo.

chygrynskyi is a pretty good centre back also.

right back i can suggest jamie lowry. he played in my 1st team all the way to the premier league, where he then got useless.

a good striker for lower leagues was billy clarke. im not sure about the price of either of these players but im sure uve got a big enough budget.

A couple of good players who are young and really cheap are Tsvetomir Tordorov (R/L M) from Ascoli for 800k Gabriel Torje(RM) for 975k and Vaclav Kadlec(ST) for free he is only 16 but stats a excellent and scored 12 in 15 for my Man Utd reserves and now pushing 1st team place in carling cup in second season. Santon is a must on loan from Inter who is Excellent

i would recommend that you put all your money on a fast striker.

Go to Marseille, and most of the good french teams, they have good fast strikers.

i dont remember their names. bordouex(spelling?) also have a few good youngsters.
