October Review
This month saw me play only 3 matches due to the early October internationals. Once again Jovetic came back to me with an injury (he was unfit when he played) and Vukcevic also picked up a knock - yet against Cagliari, Atalanta and Sampdoria I was quietly confident of a 5-9 point month. I could also see another month in the red due to no big home matches.

My first match of October was what looked like my easiest - a home tie to under performing Cagliari to find themselves 6 places below target in 17th.

My final match of September was at home against overachieving Sampdoria who sat two places above expectations in 12th.

This month was a write off to begin with as I had so many players out; however, I would have liked to have beaten Sampdoria where I had my second strongest team of the season to date out. Pizarro's passing has been a joy to behold - yet losing Pasqual, my first choice left back for 3 months with a torn hamstring (after losing my second choice Castille with the same), leaves a bitter taste. I would have preferred 5 points but 4 will do.

The Board are happy with my management once again and my capture of Vukcevic on a free, however I made a loss of £345000 as I had low home attendance and only two games, which was very disappointing. I have slipped one place down due to goal difference so I am not worrying following a bad month.

Roll on next October where I play Roma, Juve and Milan all in a row!

November Review
This month saw 5 games with a tough start (Roma, Juve & Milan); however, I have most of my team returning to fitness which makes life a lot easier. I could see this month being one where I mainly slipped down the table. Just before the Milan game I felt I really needed some back up at LB as youngster Empereur hadn't instilled me with confidence and so I signed up Benjamin Scwarz who only played 6 games in the 2. Budesliga last season but has some ok stats for a back up. He went straight into the starting line up for the Milan game.

My first game was against Roma who had recently appointed a new manager in Vincenzo Montella who has turned them around to win 2 on the bounce, bringing them upto 10th, only 4 points behind their expected position of 4th.

Coppa Italia TIM Match Day 2

My final match of the month was a Coppa Italia fourth round qualifier at home to Catania. This match was a good chance at getting revenge for the 2-2 draw in October. I was favorites at home with superb morale off the back of 3 great results whilst Catania were sitting once place below target in 14th.

What a fantastic month - I expected to come away with potentially 5 losses and low morale from this month - yet my team peformed admirably which has moved me up to first place. Again Pizarro has had over 90% passing and my team is starting to look comfortable in my possession tactics and a formidable challenger for Serie A this season. In a bizarre turn of fate - Hegazy had put in 3 peformances so far this season averaging 9.0 which had put him in contention for the Serie A player of the year award!

The board are very satisfied with my management currently and have declared my position untouchable. We also made our first profit of the season which was a real delight - starting to make up some of the deficit. I currently sit top of Serie A - lets hope we can hold on!
