Hughes Joins the Blues

Today Sun Jihai, Manchester City Manager, announced that Will Hughes has joined the Blues on a 2 year deal.

City Snapped up the youngster from Derby County for £7.5 Million, Sun Stated in the Manchester Evening news that he will be in the first team squad but he will only be cover as hes one for the future.

In other news Kolo Toure has joined PSG for 2.1 Million, Kolo wasn't in Sun's plans.

Preseason 2012

This preseason saw us with a trip to America then Straight to UAE and back home for our last Friendly. I want to start all the 3 new signings and i hope they settle into the team ready for the Community Shield and the start of the Premier League.

Review:
Top me this was a good preseason. The squad started to gel, we didn't lose and we scored a few goals and didn't concede much.
There is a feel of happiness around the club as we play the Community Shield in our next game.

Community Shield 2012

Hello and welcome to this Community Shield Final between Chelsea and Manchester City, I’m Martin Tyler. Today we see this Community Shield final being held at Villa Park for the first ever time.

Chelsea will be wearing Dark Blue while Manchester City will be wearing Maroon.

Chelsea: 4-2-3-1 – Cech, Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Terry, Cole, Romeu, Mikel, Lampard, Hazard, Oscar, Ba

Manchester City: 4-3-2-1 – Pantilimon, Maicon, Nastasic, Kompany, Clichy, Toure, Javi Garcia, Milner, Wellington Nem, Silva, Kun Aguero.

1st minute - The games gets underway.

20th minute – Lampard plays an through ball for Ba. Ba hits it from the corner of the box and Pantilimon spills the ball. It’s in DEMBA BA.

HT – Despite the score line Manchester City are on top in this one. Can they pull it back?

45th minute – Joe Hart and Okore come on for Pantilimon and injuried Maicon. The second half kicks off.

85th minute – Carlos Tevez comes on for a very tired Aguero

90th minute – Manchester City push forward looking for the Equalising goal, but lampard Intercepts the ball and crosses it to hazard. Hazard hits it first time. ITS IN HAZARDDDDDD. That’s game over. 2-0 Chelsea

FT – Manchester City were very unlucky today, they had all the possession and all the shots but the early mistake for Pantilimon, cost city the game.

J - Welcome to Villa Park, we are here with Manchester City boss Sun Jihai. Sun what are your thoughts on the game

S - We were the better team out there today, we just didn't get the luck and Pantilimon didn't have the best game in the net. Well done to Chelsea but we have our concentration on the league.

J - What is the news on Maicon?

S - Maicon picked up a knock and he will be out for 3-4 weeks, its a shame to lose such a great player

J - You are favorites to win the league. Do you think you are going to win it ?

S - I hope we can win it, i know Manchester Utd will be hot on our tails this year but we want to paint this city BLUE. This city is ours!!!!
