Jim White- "Breaking news from the north east, as we have just received news that Sunderland have sacked their manager Martin O'Neill. O'Neill had been manager at the stadium of light since December 2011 when he replaced the then sacked Steve Bruce .Many Sunderland fans will demand the reason for his sacking to be made public, as they feel he should still be in charge of the north east outfit. We now go live to our Sky Sports correspondent who is outside the stadium of light to tell us more on this story".

Correspondent- "Well yes Jim, we have been told minutes ago that Martin O'Neill has been sacked as manager of Sunderland. The reason i am here is because i was due to go into a press conference in one hour where Martin O'Neill would be speaking about team affairs, but it doesn't look like that will happen anymore. I spoke to the clubs chairman Ellis Short minutes ago, and he said it was because O'Neill had been recently criticizing the way Sunderland was run, in which he was expressing his views on twitter".
