MANAGER : IAN RUSH
Maybe Liverpool's best ever player and most loved legend

Currently Liverpool have a few players out on loan spells. Most noticeably Andy Carroll, who I'd love to see back in the Liverpool side.

A starting transfer budget of £0 and £25,000 wage budget excess isn't the best considering I'm in need of a right winger as Gerrard can't play everywhere..

Good luck!
THE TEAM
Due to having attacking football and produce young players as philosophies I have chosen a attacking strategy and Assaidi and Sterling on the bench rather than Downing. Hopefully i will try to cash in on Downing for other transfers.
Good luck with this story. It is great to see someone else taking on board a Liverpool FC story.

Good luck with the story.

Looks nice and clean.

Considering the amount of money Liverpool has spent over the last years it scary how fragile the squad still looks on paper.
FIRST GAME
Ceske Budejovice v Liverpool
LIVERPOOL

THE TEAMS

We dominated the game overall, Ceske scoring their goal from a great whipped in free kick. Suarez scoring for Liverpool from a rebound off a Gerrard shot. Not too worried about the result as it is only a friendly.

Very true, over the years Liverpool have managed their millions very poorly.
Coutinho - £9million, at the moment looks to weak and looks lost in the Premier League
Carroll - £35million, to injury prone, great player but more suitable to Coutinho's price tag
Downing - £16million, don't rate him at all and his goals/assists stats for Liverpool show why.
Liking this story so far, but I think you should change your title to something more decent instead of a long one like that.

Try 'Ian Rush: Return to Anfield' or something like that.

Anyway, great start. Like what Northwood said, it looks nice and clean. Being a massive Liverpool fan myself, I'll be watching/following with close interest. Good luck.

EURO CUP

As expected in the 3rd qualifying round of the Euro Cup, a easy draw, however they're not to be taken lightly and full focus will be on the squad to get the result the fans expect.
SKRTEL

Juventus made a cheeky bid for Skrtel, for his value price, however he is my best centre back and I will try to get at least £15million for him or a p/exchange for another CB.
TRANSFERS
As expected Juventus would not pay any more money for Skrtel and withdrawn. Also, Tottenham are currently negotiating contracts with Downing for a cut-price £7million
DOWNING = SOLD

This sale was very cheap but he was un-needed. The sale gave me £4.2million into the transfer fund and 100k wage budget excess.
Are you planning to use Raheem Sterling in the first team this season, then?
