MANGERIAL ANNOUNCEMENT LIVE FROM ANFIELD
Liverpool Football Club can happily announce Cameron Findlay as their new manager on a one-year deal. Former player Findlay is hugely popular with fans at Anfield and will hopefully bring back the glory days to Anfield that Rodgers failed to. Louis Van Gaal was the overwhelming favourite for the job and Roberto Martinez was also in contention but Ian Ayre announced that the board felt Findlay connection with the fans made him the best candidate available. Findlay himself announced he was delighted to be hired after retiring last season and hopefully would oversee a return to the glory days.
