So I'm with Ferencvaros - the best team in Hungary.
Hungary as you know it has low reputation in football nowadays, so the league itself has also this problem. Good players won't come here even if you have the money.
So I decided to load Central and Eastern EU leagues and players (80k players) and managed to sign 50+ youngsters from the region and some from Africa.
My team now (only real players, no regens)
With these lads I've won the CL in 2016-17 season - Yes I had some luck but here are my thoughts regarding the FM's so called changing reputation:
- I invested 12 million quids and received 250 million in transfer fees in the past seasons so I'm bloody rich now
- I've won the CL but my team's rep is still 'national' (7400) - which is ridiculous
- My players' values are between 0,5-1,9 million - they have 150-170 CA...
- The other teams in the league would only sign low profile, low CA players (105-115 CA) even if they qualified for CL or EL and they do have the money.
So at the season of 2017-18 the league have 3 CL and 2 EL teams (originally we have 2 CL and 3 EL but we've won the fair play vote or stg).
I'd expect some 'thinking' from the AI as the other teams in the league should sign more quality if they have the right resources and invest to training rooms and scouts but NOTHING happens...
