So This Is It - 2022

I stepped out of the ice chamber. It had worked. I was alive. I quickly asked the man who had woke me. "What year is it?"
"The year you wanted woken in. 2022" I thanked him and walked out. After my medical tests and a check up from the doctor I was clear to leave. I walked into the street. The busy London morning rush hour. How I missed it.

Once it became clear to the public freezing your body and being woken up in the future was possible I had want to do it. My last memory had been in July 2012. I had finished my UEFA Continental Licence a few months before by there was no jobs. So I had decided. I would be frozen till 2022. Maybe there would be a good job then.

After a few days after I was thawed out I had got my money from the bank and found a nice flat in Fulham. I had money but only enough to keep me going for a few months. I needed a job. "Aw well" I thought. "Tommorow. El Classico tonight." I lay back in my seat and watched as the teams came out.

The next day I decided to check the recent winners of the English Prem.

Wow. Arsenal have got a trophy! Man City dominated for a few years but now it's Arsenal.

Champions Cup

United have done quite well but a mix of winners.

Again a mix of winners. Liverpool have been quite successful in it.

"I wonder if Abramovich is still trigger happy with mangers?" I thought. I quickly goggled Chelsea managers in the last ten years. "Ok. Still trigger happy"


Eight managers in ten years. That's Abramovich alright.

It was Tuesday morning when my agent phoned me. "I'm trying to sleep. What do you want?" I shouted at him.
"Have you seen Sky Sports?" He asked me.
"No. Why?"
Just watch it. I'll phone back in a few minutes.

We are hearing some news coming out of Stamford Bridge. After only 13 days in the job Andre Villa-Boas has been sacked for the second time as the Chelsea Manager. Its not surprising that Roman Abramovich has sacked him. The next Chelsea manager will be the ninth Chelsea manager in ten years. There are many rumors about who will get the job. Jose Mourinho and Rafa Benitez are being linked with shock returns to the Bridge. Other names like club legends John Terry and Frank Lampard are also being linked. The main question is who would want to take the job with the odds of being sacked so high.

My agent phoned back. "You need to apply" he said.
"I've got no chance though."
"You've got to try" he said and hung up.

Twenty minutes later I had applied. Now time to play the waiting game.

Abramovich Knows his Man

More reports from Stamford Bridge. It's said that Roman Abramovich knows who he wants for Chelsea manager and they have entered talks. It is also reported the that the new manager will be given a whopping £160 Million to rebuild the squad.Hopefully we will know the identity of the new man in the next few days.
