James Corden has announced today that he wants to extend his terrific career by entering the world of management. Despite such a high reputation in the world of comedy, many football critics have frowned upon the announcement. Many believe James isn't the right material to be a football manager and that he lacks that seriousness and maturity needed to run a football club. These critics may affect the club offers James receives with many clubs turning their backs on the comedy genius.
However Corden is determined to prove his critics wrong and wants to venture into the management as soon as possible and he has stated he would be happy with any club that wants him. Sky Sports will continue to monitor the development of this story.
Well, he did play CM a lot :P

Will be following this !
You need to bring out the Smithy inside him, for all those half time team talks!

Good luck :)

Shock announcement concerning James Corden and his venture into management! The host of A League of Their Own has announced he will become the new manager of FC Gomel in the Belarus Highest League. This is not what the public expected with James going to such a lowly reputable team. Everyone wishes him well. When we asked the Gomel Chairman about his decision on hiring the comedy man he said "it was a pretty easy decision. James has a huge reputation and he clearly possesses skills required to be a football manager, as shown in his england team talk"

BELARUS!
Great start, keep it going :D

About Gomel FC

FC Gomel (Belarusian: ?? ??????), or FK Homel, is a Belarusian football club, playing in the city of Gomel. Over the last 60 years the club have had no more than 6 name changes. They went:
  • 1959: Lokomotiv Gomel
  • 1965: Spartak Gomel
  • 1969: Gomselmash Gomel
  • 1976: Mashinostroitel Gomel
  • 1978: Gomselmash Gomel
  • 1995: Gomel

That's a lot of name changes :P

Checked the video out only now. Epic :))

Today James Corden arrived in Belarus and gave his first training session. Things looked good with James showing some good qualities in coaching the players despite the new man not being able to speak a word of Russian.

It is believed that Corden is expected to achieve a respectable league positon in the Belarus Highest League. If Corden was too do this and also achieve a good cup run, he will certainly prove his critics wrong and win the fans of Gomel over and maybe attract interest from any bigger clubs.
Nice to see you signed ferdinand ;)
Sounds like this will be a fun run, and with Corden being pure hilarious this is going to be good :)

James Corden has released some pretty demanding statements from his first press conference at Blearus club, Gomel. James said "My main expectation is a mid table finish. However I am building for the future and in the next couple of years I want Gomel to be up there with BATE, competing for the league and champions league positions"

James also added "we have some very exciting transfers nearly wrapped up and I will be announcing them as Gomel players in the coming days."

These statements have left the Gomel fans excited for the future and maybe the BATE fans looking over their shoulders after many years of dominance.

Next up...Transfers
Judging from how he took over training Corden seems like he's going to be a quality manager ;)
Transfers

Overall very happy with my transfers. Getting some good youth into the side. My best signing is probably Ivan Bolado due to his young age but good all round stats
