PAUL WHELAN, DAVE WHELAN'S SON HAS BEEN UNVEILED AS THE LATICS NEW BOSS, WILL HE FINALLY BRING 1ST DIVISION SUCCESS TO THE WIGAN SIDE?

The new boss is staying realistic and just trying to keep Wigan in the Premier League for the first season
Assistant managers view on the squad ability... Kone clearly is going to be a key for success

3 strikers, risky yes but they are 3 of the best players in the squad and will get the much needed goals to stay out of relegation.
McCarthy at DM, he will also be trained for his new role.
Despite Maloney being in high regard, the squad isn't good enough for wingers and he will be used as a much needed "super-sub"
Also, Scharner being scouted as a better player than Caldwell however he is on loan and I'd rather the long term option of Caldwell to be first choice partner of Ramis.

For more much needed funds, getting rid of dead wood such as Piscu and Espinoza, Also despite McManaman being a gem for Wigans FA Cup run, he has a low ability rating and will not be needed.

NEW STAR SIGNING
The first signing of the season is Inigo Perez, a central midfielder, for a very cheap £1.4million.
A scouted ability of makes him the 2nd best player in the squad.

Lomban - 2nd signing
The Barca man, unheard of maybe, but with a scout report of , he is a key signing and will bolster my back 4.
Nice work. Try adding screenshots of players and more pictures to make it even more interesting.
Nice signings mate :)

BACK UP CB

Lomban looks like he will be Ramis and Caldwell's back up but will be rotated.

Thanks mate, have done.
AFC WIMBLEDON AWAY FRIENDLY
Midson scores on the break. 1-0 Wimbledon
Perez on his debut!!! 1-1
Comeback! 2-1 Watson
HT @ Wimbledon in my first friendly.
Espinoza on for McCarthy due to his 73% fitness.
Di Santo for Dicko, purely tactical swap.
Henriquez scores, 48th min, Perez controlling the midfield.
Henriquez hits the post, so close! Perez subbed off, due to his yellow card.
Perez with a rating of 7.50 and a goal, great debut. McArthur on.
Beausejour for Figueroa and Watson for Jordi Gomez. Still 3-1 60mins.
Lombon's first action, subbed on for the booked Ramis.
Scharner for Caldwell, 75mins.
Full-time, Great first win despite it only being a League Two side and a friendly. I'm happy.
Stam MOTM. 7.80 rating. Solid performance from the right back.

Un-needed player, needed to get rid, fans aren't too happy that Jones has gone though...
