Club Overview

Cardiff City reside in the Cardiff City Stadium, which hosts their home games. They have fierce a fierce rivalry with Swansea, contesting the South Wales Clash. They're also rivals with Bristol City and Leeds. They are currently at the npower Championship.

Who am i?

I will be controlling Laurent Blanc, who is a 25-year old French coach with an unknown reputation. Although there is a real Laurent Blanc in the game, i won't be potraying him.

FIRST PRESS CONFERENCE!

Press : Let's start shall we, first off, do you intend to get rid of players and staff that are already currently here at Cardiff?

Blanc : Why, yes!.....But only those who are insignificant of course.

Press : Do you have any targets lying around?

Blanc : Well if i tell you now it wouldn't be much of a surprise now, will it?

Press : Do you think promotion is achievable?

Blanc : Why, yes!.....In the future that is. We have to take it slowly, and maybe, with the right amount of patience, we'll go up there to the Premier League. That is all, thank you.
Good luck mate. I will be following. :)
Good luck m8. I never saw a Cardiff story, should be intresting :)
At least this is FM12, so they're still in blue :P

Pre-Season

It went pretty well actually. We only lost to Celtic, the media also was shocked when we won 2 - 0 against Newcastle, hopefully everything will go well also.

Transfers

I didn't have that many transfer money, so i got Danny Wilson on Loan, Sam Ricketts for 2.5 pounds, Sergio Rodriguez and Papa Bouba Diop on free transfers.

In other news, Everton sold 2 key players as Fellaini and Baines were sold to Man Utd and Tottenham, respectively.

Chelsea traveled through North America to gain the services of Rafael Marquez and Landon Donovan, meanwhile France giants PSG recently bought Aurelien Chedjou and Manuel Fernandes.

Miscellaneous

Cardiff City plans to buy the Cardiff City Stadium fully if everything goes right. It will be bought next year at the 25th of June 2012.

We also got Arsenal as a parent club where our main goal was to get funds. They will pay us 113K pound sterling annually.

(Credits to darkstallion873 for teaching me spoilers!)
(If you guys want to know what's happening with your favorite clubs at my save, feel free to ask! I'll post them as fast as i can :D)

August : Great Beginnings

So far so good! We are at the 2nd of the table at the moment and we advanced through the Capital One Cup narrowly beating Portsmouth after a penalty shootout! This has been going well and i hope it will continue!

More Transfers

Before the end of the transfer window i got Moreira, Birger Maertens, and the signing that the fans have been really happy with, James McFadden.

Adrian Aldrete moves to Stoke on the last day of the transfer market for 6.75M pound sterling and Championship clubs Bolton, Middlesbrough, and Blackburn signed Carlo Nash, Radek Sirl, and Eli Sabia to their clubs respectively.

Miscellaneous

Leeds has the most injuries in the Championship with 8 players out, while Liverpool has 10 injuries, including Steven Gerrard, Martin Skrtel, Sebastian Coates, Daniel Agger, and Martin Kelly.

Man Utd tops the Premier League rankings, followed by Q.P.R and Tottenham, while in Spain Athletic Bilbao, Sevilla, and Betis share the same points of 6.
solid start dude looking forward to this one

(Big, i mean BIG shoutout to LJO200 for the SWEET banner!)

September : DARN U BLACKBURN

WE GOT BEAT FINALLY!? Yes, it's sad but true though...a 2-4 loss ends our undefeated streak, but good news is we hammered West Ham (pun intended?) and advanced even further in the running for the Capital One Cup.

Here are the results.

Top 6 Championship Table

Here is the top 6 standings, i have to say we're looking beast here!

Miscellaneous

3 of my players are in contention of best average rating, with Joe Mason (7.60) on 3rd, Craig Noone (7.58) on 5th, and Craig Conway tied with David Edgar from Burnley (7.56) for 6th place.

I want to upgrade my training and youth facilities but i fear it might damage our finances...what do you guys think?

And also should i post goals? Will that make it more enjoyable to read?

October : Realization

Well this hasn't been the best of months since we got eliminated by Newcastle in the running for Capital One Cup, and also dropping to 3rd place due to 2 losses and 1 draw.

Transfer Updates

We had to sell Joe Lewis due to him not getting any games with David Marshall and Moreira being rotated all the time, we got 500K pound sterling from Fulham and he will join on the next transfer window.

Capital One Cup Overview

After defeating Barnet 3-2, Portsmouth 3-3 penalties and West Ham 3-1, we got hit by Newcastle and were defeated 0-4, can't say i'm not dissapointed but we put up a good fight, with us gaining more possession. The current teams who are still on the running and the fixture list are:

Q.P.R vs Newcastle
Arsenal vs West Brom
Reading vs Brighton
Tottenham vs Man City

November-December : Staying Up

Things are going pretty well! With the results gained these 2 months we are now 3rd! Let's hope we can keep this up!

Team Goals

I am pleased to say that we are tied for 1st place in order of team goals! Our total is 53, the same as 1st placed Wolves and 7th Huddersfield , followed by Bolton with 49 goals.

Miscellaneous

Fa Cup is coming up and we are up against West Brom in the 3rd round, wish us luck!

Also a future transfer is happening in the form of Fabrice N'Sakala for 700K pound sterling!
A very nice set of results, keep it up! :)
