GOLD CUP FINAL

USA - 2

Fernando Rodrigo Hernandez (18)
Will Bruin (27)

Mexico - 3

Javier Hernandez (43, pen 45+4)
Carlos Vela (86)

BOLLOCKS TO EVERYTHING. BOLLOCKS TO THIS GAME. BOLLOCKS TO THIS COMPETITION. BOLLOCKS TO THE GOAL POACHING BASTARD. BOLLOCKS TO THE BIASED REF THAT GAVE AWAY A PENALTY AND DEEMED VELA'S HANDBALL GOAL TO BE FINE.
In a serious note, this game annoyed me.

U.S.A. Punished By Controversial Goal

USA's 3-2 North American Gold Cup Final defeat against Mexico, saw Mexico awarded a somewhat controversial goal in the 86th minute.

USA's Fernando Rodrigo Hernandez revealed after the match that he felt there had been a foul in the build up to the goal and that Vela's strike should not have been given.

Reporter - How do you feel about Carlos Vela's 86th minute goal? Do you feel is should have stood?
Abbott - Well obviously i am dissapointed by it, but i don't see why it shouldn't have stood?
Reporter - Well there was a reported handball that the referee seemed to have missed.
Abbott - I must have missed that, do you have a replay of it?
Reporter - Fortunately, we do.
Abott - Well..this part upsets me, my defence were all over the place.... Wait a minute....That's a blatant handball! He pushed the ball away from my defender with his hand! Ref, you were stood less than 5 feet from it! Oh, that is a disgrace. An utter disgrace.
A reporter approaches American businessman, Akash Vidyasagar.

Akash Vidyasagar: "I already know what you are going to ask me. Yes, I saw the match, I saw the handball and I certainly saw the referee having conversations and laughing with the Mexican players after the game. I want a full inquiry into the matter!"

CONCACAF Remain Silent Over Abbott Outburst

CONCACAF have refused to punish or apologise to Abbott over his outburst following the Gold Cup Final.
America as a country want a full explanation as to why Carlos Vela's goal was allowed.
More news to follow.
In Cancun Mexico the referee who allowed the goal to stand made a Mexican syndicate $5m as they had USA to go 2-0 up and Mexico to score 3 including a goal in the last 5 minutes.

Leader of the Syndicate: I am very happy with the referee and I think it is now time for him to retire.

Jeffrey Webb Steps Down As CONCACAF President

After the recent allegations of Match fixing cheating, Jeffrey Webb has today stepped down as president of CONCACAF.

Webb - I whole heartedly apologise to the USA national team for everything they have been put through. They worked hard to get to the final i wrongly cheated them out of an opportunity to win it. I shall admit now, i bribed the Referee (Jose Martinez) to be unfair towards the US. Today, me and Martinez will tender our resignation with immediate effect.

Blatter - I am disgraced and disgusted at what has happened over the past few days. I can assure all of you, that it will never happen again.

Hughes - As a good friend of Daniel's, i was shocked when i found out what happened. He is a good manager, and he doesn't deserve this. He did a great job at the Brighton team i am now with, and an even better one with the USA. In my opinion that match should be replayed.

Holloway - Well it's ludicrous isn't it? What's football coming to now-a-days? That match should be replayed in America with a neutral ref. Not being funny, but Vela shouldn't be allowed to play either.

Abbott - To be honest, i'm just glad that we go justice for what has gone on. We'll pick ourselves up, dust us off and prepare for the World Cup next year. That's if we don't get cheated out of that.

Controversial footballer Joey Barton has hit Twitter with this statement;
"CONCAFAC are a joke. #PrayForUsa"
Other players like Rio Ferdinand and even stars like Gary Lineker have defended USA over twitter.

Bradley Resigns As Captain

In the aftermath of all the controversy, Michael Bradley has resigned as USA captain with immediate effect.
In a prepared statement Bradley apologised to the USA fans for being unable to being home the Gold Cup, and explain his decision to quite was largely because he felt the captain should shoulder some responsibility.
He added that his successor would bring a fresh approach and hopefully success.

Diskerund Named As New USA Captain

After the resignation of Michael Bradley, Abbott has appointed Mikkel Diskerund as the new USA Captain.

Abbott - I wanted someone who could control the game in midfield, and isn't afraid to tell others what to do. That man is Mikkel.

Brad Guzan moves in to vice-captain instead of Will Bruin.
So far the public's reaction has been positive, with the fans believing that Mikkel is the right choice.

LA Galaxy Win US Cup

Glorious scenes all over Los Angles as they lift the US Cup for the first time in 12 years. Goals from Bernal and Pavlyuchenko cemented their place on the honours list.

Reporter - You masterminded a memorable US Cup victory that fans will remember for years to come. What are your immediate reactions to this success?
Abbott - Elation i guess, i mean i always knew we had a chance in this competition but i never thought it would happen, and in such a comfortable fashion.
Reporter - You have guided your team all the way to the final and tasted success. What did you think of the final?
Abbott - It was a fantastic game of football for both teams. They both showed signs that they really wanted this, but we just showed it more. Some of our one touch passing was simply magnificent.
Reporter - Sporting Kansas were dissapointed with the referee's decision not to award them a penalty, though it would have surely been a source for controversy had he done. What did you make of it?
Abbott - I was unaware that there was a penalty shout in this game. Have we been watching the same game?
Reporter - Haha, i'll let you go and enjoy your success.
Abbott - Thank you.
