But you've got one hell of a future!

This is the story, where I will be simming all the way to err, I don't know when. If this gets a lot of support, I will keep going for a long time, but if no-one is interested, I won't continue it. I will tell you all about what's going on in the world of football, who's sacked their long serving manager and who has been relegated despite a strong squad and high expectations. If you have read The World According to FM in Football Manager Stole My Life you should know pretty much what to expect. So, put your seatbelt on, and enjoy the ride!

What leagues will we be seeing?

The first season will include Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A and Liga BBVA. However, each season will have a new league added, so if we get far enough, we will soon be seeing the Belarusian or Icelandic Second Division! (We won't get that far)

Could it get any more dramatic than that? Manchester City were losing to Q.P.R on the final day of the season. The news came in that Manchester United had won at Sunderland meant that City needed to get all 3 points, which would give them the title on goal difference. Then City equalised. Edin Dzeko with a powerful header. And then, just seconds later, this happened.

Manchester City were champions. But that wasn't the only thing that was happening in english football. Bolton went down on that same day as they couldn't beat Stoke, which they needed to do to survive. Wolves had already been relegated, a long time before, whilst Blackburn, went down under incredibly unpopular manager Steve Kean and the owners who made a string of controversial desicions, igniting fury from the Rovers fans. In the top half, Arsenal secured 3rd, one point ahead of Tottenham, whereas Newcastle astonishingly made it into 5th place. Chelsea sacked their manager Andre Villas Boas in March, and replaced him with Roberto Di Matteo, a club legend who scored the famous 43 second goal in the 1997 FA Cup final. He couldn't stop them from dropping to 6th, but he secured Champions League football for them with a shocking penalty win over Bayern Munich which gave them the biggest prize in club football, the Champions League. Roman Abramovich resonded by giving Di Matteo the job full time, and Tottenham sacked their manager for not leading them into the Champions League. Madness, but who cared? It was brilliant, and we're here this season for more of the same.

Barcelona were known by everyone as the best team in the world. They had Xavi, Iniesta, Messi. Their manager, Josep Guardiola, was considered the best manager in the world. A year later, he was out of a job. Real Madrid won the league with an astonishing 100 points, 9 points ahead of Barca. And Barca were knocked out of the Champions League at the semi-final stage, defeated by a weak Chelsea side. They could only manager the Copa Del Rey. So Guardiola resigned. But there was more shocks, at the other end of the table. One of Spain's biggest sides, Villareal, were relegated after their star striker Giuseppe Rossi was injured and missed most of the season. They will be looking to come straight back up, as will Sporting Gijon and Racing Santander, relegated with them. Valencia made it into the Champions League as did Malaga, meaning Atletico Madrid hat to settle for the Europa League again, alongside suprise package Levante. Can La Liga cement it's place as the world's best league?

Only two teams have ever won the Bundesliga three times in a row. Bayern Munich, and, in the 1970's, Borussia Monchengladbach. But could another team be added to that list? Borussia Dortmund are one of the most exciting teams in the world right now, winning the last two Bundesliga titles with an amazingly youthful squad. But FC Bayern have responded. Unluckily beaten in the Champions League, they need to get the players to beat Dortmund back to where they belong. But they won't be the only teams challenging for the title. Schalke boast top players such as Jefferson Farfan, Benedikt Howedes, Klaas Jan Huntelaar and new signing Scott Parker, and they will be challenging for the title too, alongside Bayer Leverkusen with Andre Schurrle and Stefan Kiessling. Another team not to write off, despite the sale of key player Marco Reus, is Borussia Monchengladbach, who have acquired Dutch hotshot Luuk de Jong in a bid to retain their position in the Champions League spots, although they have also lost star defender Dante. However, the battles for the title won't be the only battles, and Greuther Furth will be looking to stay up to bury their former nickname of the Un-promotables. They will be fighting against Dusseldorf, Freiburg and Frankfurt, not to mention Augsburg, to stay afloat. We don't know what will happen in the world's most unpredictable league but what we do know is that no one will want to miss the 2012/13 Bundesliga season.
Great updates LJO. Keep it up :)

Why does this always happen? And why does it always happen here? Just as Serie A is getting better, it gets ruined by the Scommessopoli, where hundreds of players and staff were arrested. Focusing on the positives, Antonio Conte, who was actually accused in the Scommessopoli, led his Juventus side to the league title unbeaten, boosted by Andrea Pirlo in the centre of the park, whereas AC Milan sat four points behind. Udinese made it into 4th but sold their best players to Juventus, and will have a big challenge to make the top five again. Inter Milan and Fiorentina have declined, Inter nnot even qualifying for the Europa League and Fiorentina not even in the top half. Never mind the boring reputation, this will be an exciting season in Italy!
Still not sure where you're going with this but defo looks interesting! I'll be following :D

Season 1: England

You don't expect David Moyes to be sacked and the majority of Everton fans to agree with the board's decision. But Everton's long spell in the Premier League is over, as they have been relegated with only 33 points all season, managing only 6 wins. That wasn't the only shock however, as Aston Villa pulled up 2 points short of West Brom, who won only 2 league games after January. Villa manager Paul Lambert was under pressure all year but finally sacked just after the January transfer window, when Tony Pulis came in to replace him. Fulham performed poorly and halfway through the season were forced to fire Martin Jol, and Malky Mackay came in to guide them to safety, 3 points away from the drop, beating West Ham to 15th. Wigan just edged ahead of The Cottagers and Stoke edged ahead of them, whilst Swansea made it into 12th under Michael Laudrup. Sunderland could only manage 11th place despite having the league's top scorer, with 23 goals, Steven Fletcher and renowned manager Martin O'Neill. Bitter rivals Newcastle snatched 10th by one point, Moussa Sissoko bagging 9 goals. Brian McDermott masterminded a superb 9th place finish for newly promoted Reading with Noel Hunt and Pavel Pogrebnyak getting 26 goals between them. They finished a point behind Liverpool who sacked Brendan Rodgers after they were sat in the bottom half for the first half of the season. He was replaced with Marcelo Bielsa who led them back into the top half but could not secure Europa League football. Ahead of them were the two biggest shocks of the season, Q.P.R and Southampton who secured European football despite spending the first half of the season in the bottom half. Tottenham missed out on the Champions League with Gareth Bale injured for much of the campaign and Jermain Defoe being their top scorer with only 10 goals. Arsene Wenger's two new signings Olivier Giroud and Shane Long combined perfectly to get them their first silverware in years, defeating Cardiff in the FA Cup final, but they couldn't get any higher than 4th in the league, behind Manchester United who were looking to silence their 'noisy neighbours' Manchester City, signing Yohan Cabaye, Shinji Kagawa and Robin van Persie. Despite these big signings they did not win back the league title, and had to settle for a Capital One Cup victory over Chelsea, who signed Stefan Jovetic to improve their title chances. Despite his 14 goals Manchester City emerged champions once again with 81 points, signing Hatem Ben Arfa and Marouane Fellaini to retain the title.

Manchester City - Premier League Champions!
