Bean Signs Veteran Carvalho

http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01544/53_carv_1544651a.jpg

Bean said as soon as he was hired for A.C. Milan that he wanted to sign a centre back very early on to fix up his teams fairly weak defence. Bean has openly admitted he wanted to sure up his defence and he has sure done this today.

Carvalho has won 23 trophies in his illustrious career which include league titles in Spain, England and Portugal. He is of 34 years of age and is nearing the end of his career so Bean will be hoping that Carvalho can turn A.C. Milan’s average looking defence into a world class defence as they push on this season.

Pre-Season Results

Bean took a relaxed view to his pre-season and left his assistant manager to it on game day for these fixtures.

Carvalho :O
I hope he does well for the mighty Milan! :)
Brilliant signing in Carvalho.

Is it a coincidence that the only difference your tactic and my main tactic with Aston Villa is the fact that their names are different? :P
awesome...looking to follow this one it will be interesting with the budget theyve given you anyway

First Game End In A Narrow Victory For Bean

Joshua Bean walked onto the pitch for his first the beginning of his first match as A.C. Milan manager, to a standing ovation from the 50,000 fans in attendance. Bean clapped them back proudly as he heard his name sung out by the A.C. Milan faithful, A.C. Milan fans were known for allowing managers time and this was no exception. He may be a nobody but he was going to be given a chance.

Things got off to a sensational start for Bean as Montolivo scored a stunning free-kick after just four minutes in the top right corner leaving the keeper helpless. Bean’s possession tactic was working very well as A.C. Milan kept the ball with apparent ease but his side struggled to create any clear chances and they were punished from a corner on the thirty-four minute mark. Ranegie scored a powerful header from seven yards out from an in swinging corner. But Bean got his win on the sixty-five minute after Robinho latched onto a poor back-pass to slot into the corner much to the delight of Bean who punched the air and screamed in delight. His side easily run down the clock as they passed the ball around the pitch with ease.

A great start for Bean who is delighted with his first win.

My View:

A good first match against a difficult Udinese side and my tactic seemed to have worked as we kept the ball very well. Only issue’s are we did not create clear chances and the amount of fans that turned up, I hoping that after a few games and a few wins I hope we start getting towards the 70,000 mark as 50,000 is not good enough.

A.C. Milan Given Difficult Group

Joshua Bean will be waking up today with the knowledge that if his team are to succeed in Europe this season they are going to have to get past a very difficult group. Bean will be having to prepere his side for a tough home and away fixture against Shaktar, along with difficult away legs to Montpellier and Fenerbache. This is by no means a easy group.

I am concerned with the group as there is no easy game home or away in which you can say with complete certainty that we will win. I am escpecially concerned about the Shaktar match home and away as they are a very good side.
I reckon you can get through that. Montpellier shouldn't be that hard.
