I'm so glad you went with this story again, I was really enjoying it last time. :)
I'll be watching out for this one, Sheff Wed have always had a soft spot in my heart. Check your youth team for Joe Nwankwo... assuming he wasn't a regen, he is a class player ;)
One more of your stories Blue, thats absolutely awesome.
Always with those magnificent updates :D

Good luck for the story, I'm sure you'll do great.

Wednesday Hire Johnson

Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed their winger Jermaine Johnson as the new manager of the club after they were unable to find a candidate with a previous track record. The Jamaican has been a player for the Owls since he signed on a free transfer in 2007, and has now gained enough trust from the board of directors to be given this new role at Hillsborough.

Johnson has no previous managerial experience, and now the 32-year-old has the unenviable task of trying to guide his new team to Championship safety. Thankfully he will be glad that the season is yet to start, and still has time to add to his Owls squad, and try to make his task in his debut season. Many critics are questioning whether installing an inexperienced manager into such a high-pressure role is really the right move by the hierarchy at the club. After hearing these criticisms of JJ, Wednesday fans flooded onto the Internet to voice their support for new manager and also show their confidence in his abilities to be able to guide the club away from relegation.

An official statement made by the club read "Sheffield Wednesday FC's board of directors can now confirm first-team winger Jermaine Johnson is to take over the job of first-team manager at the club following the sacking of David Jones as manager a few days ago. The board is confident that appointing Johnson is the right choice to take the club forwards, and we wish him the best of luck in his new role here at Hillsborough.

Shortly after this announcement was made on the club's official website, Johnson himself took to Twitter to announce a new development:

Jermaine Johnson / @DaRealJJ11:
Now Wednesday manager! Ending my playing days, now a serious manager! Watch out, I'll terrorize you all!

One of the main reasons Johnson is thought to have been appointed as the new Wednesday manager is that he knows the club and the players so well, having been a player at Hillsborough since he joined from Bradford City in 2007. This is considered an advantage that a different manager, who had not worked with the club before, would not have, because he hasn't spent time learning about how the club works and is run. This is also one of the main reasons as to why many fans are confident in JJ's ability to succeed with the club.
Hope you can take this great player and turn him into a great manager!
Great start to it Blue. I hope that you take the Owls to glory :P
