Great start toon, absolutely loving you writing style. I'm feeling inspired to start something like this myself. Great signings and good luck with your assault on the championship.

Forest Complete Modest Pre-Season

Nottingham Forest have completed their pre-season, playing 6 friendlies with 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses, experimenting with several formations and squads along the way.

Nottingham Forest have completed their training for the Championship in a pre-season consisting of six games. New manager, Andy Cole, experimented with several different line ups and play-styles to find what was right for him, meaning that Forest fans didn't get the results they may have preferred.

"Pre-season games aren't about winning." Cole told a Journalist after a 2-1 defeat to Galatasaray. "The key thing is for the players to be getting fit and to show their worth, meaning that it's easier for me to give the right people a chance when the Championship kicks off. We lost to good sides, so I don't see the issue."

A dominant performance from Forest, they never looked like losing. Despite the fact Burton only lost by one, Forest owned the game. Burton only had two shots, spending most of the game in their own half, defending- albeit quite well, Zander Diamond preventing more than one goal at center-half. Forest deserve the win.
