Loan News – I have a total of 14 players out on loan and I will be keeping very close tabs on Fabio, Zaha, Henriquez and Macheda.

All 4 could turn into quality players, especially Zaha! Keep it up, this is great

Premier League Fixture - 01.09.12 – QPR A

Another good solid display winning 0-3. The scorers were Rafael (who also got MOM), Giggs (who is the only player to have played and scored in every season of the Premier League) and Van Persie. Special mention also to Michael Carrick who had a great game (65/72) successful passes and 7 interceptions.

Injury News – Cleverley injured in training and he will be out for 4 weeks with an ankle injury.

Injury News – Nani injured in training and he will be out for 2 weeks with a chest injury. I am disappointed with this injury, as Nani has had a great start to the season scoring 2 goals.

Won 4-1 with Valencia, Van Persie, Rooney and super sub Hernandez scoring. Also rested Evra and gave Buttner his full debut and he had a good solid game.

Champions League Fixture - 18.09.12 – Red Bull Salazburg H

Opening game in the group stages and stress to the players of the importance of winning and they did not disappoint with a solid 2-0 victory with Van Persie and Rooney scoring. Another good midfield performance by Carrick 80/85 successful passes and 2 interceptions but it was Anderson who stole the show getting both assists, 69/77 successful passes and 5 interceptions.

My first real challenge and it ended 1-1 with Van Persie scoring yet again. Ferdinand also got injured but should be fit enough for the next game.

Capital One Cup 3rd Round Fixture – 26.09.12 – Ipswich A

A truly shocking display as United went out 3-1 on penalties after the match ended 3-3. Kagawa, Welbeck and Hernandez all scored. Hernandez also hit the post just before normal time and near the end of extra time. When it went to penalties Welbeck and Hernandez missed their penalties (Fletcher did score his). Also had Paul Scholes sent off for two book able offences in the first half.

Injury News – Darren Fletcher who has just returned to fitness picked up a knock against Ipswich and will now be out for 2 weeks.
