Premier League Fixture - 15.01.13 – Reading A
Formation 4-4-2
David De Gea, Rafael, Rio Ferdinand, Namanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Nani, Michael Carrick, Anderson, Giggs, Robin Van Persie, Wayne Rooney
Subs used – Jonny Evans, Danny Welbeck, Javier Hernandez
Won the game 1-3 but it was not until Evans and Hernandez scored from the bench that the points were in the bag. Vidic picked up the MOM award as he was great in the air and scored early on as well to cap a great display.
Transfer News – Valencia has reacted angrily at not being allowed to speak to Tottenham (I am a little confused by this as I am above Tottenham in the league and United are the bigger club, if it was the other way around I would understand, also Valencia has played a lot of games this season). I have told him that I need him until the end of the season and if he still wants to leave I will not stand in his way. This is also the reason why he was not included in the squad to play Reading. However Valencia has now sealed his own fate and I will use him in a bid to get Bale. Tottenham have said that do not want to pay £25 million for Valencia but want £50+ million for Bale so I will start negotiating and see if a deal can be reached.
Injury News – De Gea injured in training and will be out for 2 weeks. So hopefully Lindegaard can step up and perform well as the games he has played in he looks a bit unsure.
Premier League Fixture - 19.01.13 – Tottenham H
Formation 4-2-3-1
Anders Lindegaard, Rafael, Jonny Evans, Namanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Michael Carrick, Nick Powell, Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs, Robin Van Persie
Subs Used – Paul Scholes, Anderson, Nani
Decided to give Powell his first league start and he played well. Vidic again got the MOM award as he scored the winning goal from a Van Persie corner. Just after the hour mark Giggs was taken off with an injury however.
Injury News – Giggs will be out for a week after getting injured against Spurs.
Injury News – Ferdinand injured in training and will be out for a week.

Anders Lindegaard, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Jonny Evans, Alexander Buttner, Tom Cleverley, Nick Powell, Danny Welbeck, Adnan Januzaj, Jack Barmy, Javier Hernandez
Subs Used – Darren Fletcher, Mats Daehli, James Wilson
Gave debuts to Adnan Januzaj, Jack Barmy, Mats Daehli, and James Wilson and they all did well. Went behind early on but one from Smalling and two by Welbeck who was assisted by Barmby made sure of the victory and the 1-3 result.

Lost 2-1 and my first league defeat of the season. I also decided to recall Valencia and he had an OK game. United goal was scored by Hernandez who had come on after just 9 minutes after Ronney was taken off injured.
Injury News – Rooney will be out for a 4 weeks after getting injured against Chelsea.
