Won 0-1 with Fletcher scoring but should have been more as I dominated the match. So with 10 games till the end of the season I have a 10 point lead on City.

Drew 1-1 with Van Persie scoring but not happy with the display.

Injury News – Rooney is out (just after he was back in training from his last injury) and will be out for a week which means he misses the Milan game.

The game started very well when Ferdinand scored early on. Hernandez then came on early to replace Van Persie who was injured and he then scored. However AC Milan pulled one back after Evra was sent off after 32 minutes for getting two yellow cards. Going into the second half Milan were the better team and a man up but they could not break down my defense. With the game looking like it would go into extra time Luca Antonini was sent off for Milan for getting two yellow cards and then Danny Welbeck scored with the last kick of the game to put United into the next round and secured the 3-1 win.

Injury News – The injury picked up by Van Persie was worse than thought and he might miss the remainder of the season with a torn calf.

Transfer News - I am pleased to announce the signing of Gareth Bale from Tottenham for £37.5 million plus Antonio Valencia. He will join up in the summer after the end of the English season. I am pleased to get him for under the £50 million Tottenham wanted plus Valencia form has suffered since he was linked to Spurs in the January transfer window. The reason for the signing was not just because he is a world class player but because he is left footed and I lack a real out and out left winger (except Giggs).

Transfer News – My new generation of young academy players have arrived and I have only decided to signed 5 of them up (the best being Casey Cook).

Champions League News – Drawn against Bayern in the quarterfinal, which is the tie of the round.

Won 2-0 with Hernandez and Nani scoring but it was Jones who was the star breaking up play and getting the MOM award. This was an important victory after some dodge league performances. Cleverely however picked up a knock.
