Ryan Chance, the 33-year-old former Sunday league footballer, says he is desperate to go into football management, and urged chairmen of Blue Square Bet North & South clubs to give him a chance, despite his lack of any previous managerial experience.

Bolton-born Chance also admitted he is 'very interested' in the vacant managerial position at Hayes & Yeading United, who currently play in the Blue Square Bet South after suffering relegation from the Blue Square Bet Premier last season.

Chance said "I'm very interested in the Hayes & Yeading United job, absolutely. I know they were relegated last season but they have kept most of their best players and I believe I could definitely get them promoted at the first attempt." He went to add "It would be a very good club for me to start off my managerial career, but the fact is that I am highly unlikely to be considered for the job, because I haven't got any managerial experience."

Only time will tell whether or not there is a chairman out there brave enough to take a risk and offer him the job
Nice way to start mate :)

The Hayes & Yeading United board have announced the appointment of Ryan Chance as the club's new manager.

Chance is said to be relishing the opportunity to develop his football management skills at Kingfield Stadium and the United supporters are sure to be hoping he can make a difference to their team.

The new manager will watch his team from the stands as they host Brighton & Hove Albion in a pre-season friendly later today. Chance's first game in charge of the club will a pre-season friendly at Grays Athletic on Tuesday night.

United will then host Hastings United in their fourth and final pre-season friendly, having lost their first friendly at home to Brentford 4-0 under caretaker manager Tristan Lewis.
Nice start, good luck! :)

In his first press conference since joining the club, new Hayes & Yeading United manager Ryan Chance promised supporters 'exciting' and 'entertaining' football under his management.

When asked about what the United supporters can expect to see when watching their team play under his management, Chance replied "Football is about entertainment and that is what I promise the Hayes and Yeading fans. They will see some exciting football and hopefully they will enjoy coming to watch their team play because their support is absolutely vital to this football club and I would love to see big crowds at the Kingfield Stadium this season."

Chance also confirmed that he would be strengthening the squad before the start of the new season, saying "There are some good players at this football club already, but we do have one of the smallest squads in the division and I will certainly be looking to add some more depth and quality before the opening day."
Hate in Football Manager when you say things and the press interprets it as something else... like when you say "I promise the fans entertainment." the headlines say 'Manager Promises Attacking Football.'
-_-
Good luck though, mate.

Thanks for the comments and encouragement so far guys! Really appreciate it! This is the squad I have at the start. Not good enough for a genuine promotion push so I will be signing a few players. Don't have much money as you would expect so I will have to look at loans and free transfers. Morale is really good which is fantastic news and I am looking forward to what should be a good season for us. Hope you enjoy reading it :D
If you're looking for a striker I highly recommend this french striker:

Sami Ben Aoun

He's a free agent and if he's in your database, he will be a long term striker for Hayes. Only 19 and will be first team.

Hayes & Yeading United have confirmed that Director of Football Tony O'Driscoll, Assistant Manager Tristan Lewis and Head of Youth Development Derrick Matthews have left the club, whilst there are rumours that Goalkeeping Coach Delroy Preddie, Head Physio Christian Hughes and Chief Scout Alfie Jones could also be heading for the exit door.

Manager Ryan Chance is keen to bring in his own people and United have also confirmed that they are looking for a Reserves Manager and an Under 18's Manager as Chance looks to develop the club's youngsters.

Ryan Chance has made his first signings as manager of Hayes & Yeading United with Vincent Péricard joining the club on a free transfer and Huw Johnson joining on loan from AFC Wimbledon until the end of the season.

The United supporters are especially excited at the prospect at Péricard, who has Premier League experience with Portsmouth.

Delighted to get this guy! Will hopefully bang in the goals at this level. Scout reports suggested he is good enough at League Two level, so I'm expecting big things from him. Johnson is a solid centre midfielder. More than comfortable at this level. Need to add a few more players yet though.
Nice looking signing mate.
