October-November

Premier League

Euro Cup

Capital One Cup

Liverpool will face Man United in the quarter-finals.

Notes

What a great couple of months! It is now December and Liverpool are still unbeaten in all competitions. Amazing. Top of the league is way above Martinez's expectations and the board and fans are ecstatic. Skrtel and Nkoulou have the highest average rating of date and that shows the great defensive work the reds are doing. The side have now fully gelled and look unstoppable. Can Martinez keep this form going?

December

Notes

A great year is proven with the shear amount of awards given to Liverpool players. Nkoulou proving a amazing buy as he scoops all the African awards and he and Gerrard making World awards too. December was a month of huge games and derbys. The North-West derby and Merseyside derby both went Liverpools way. The first loss of the year went to Arsenal who demolished Liverpool 3-0 however Martinez's men bounced back with a win against second placed Chelsea. A great year to build on for the Reds.

Chelsea are the only danger, they are looking good.
Some of those signings are absolutely quality like Carvajal and Zouma. Sneijder and Tevez will have a great impact for you and it will be interesting to see how Min does.

League

Notes

The fairytale continues for Roberto Martinez and Liverpool. A unbeaten two month besides a loss against Premier League Champions Arsenal. Great 3 goal wins against Man United and Chelsea topped of a great start to 2014. Liverpool are now through to the 2nd knockour round of the Euro Cup against Dynamo Kiev and will face either Wigan or Swansea in the sixth round of the FA Cup. Liverpool are now storming the league as Chelsea had a series of slip ups against weak opposition and a loss against Liverpool themselves. Luis Suarez is proving why he should be picked infront of Min and Tevez with his great goalscoring record in the league. Skrtel is showing he is a rock at the back and Gerrard and El Shaarawy are showing their ability to set up goals.

New Signings Notes

Carlos Tevez - 7 games so far, 3 from the bench, and he has scored 3 goals and one assist. Including a very important goal against former club and North West rivals Man United.
Heung-Min - Also 7 games, 4 from the bench, has shown his finishing ability with 4 goals and 3 assists. A great start.
Wesley Sneijder - 10 games so far, 5 from the bench, not the best record on paper with 1 goal and 2 assists but with other playmakers in the side such as Captain Gerrard it is hard to get assists and play in his general position. However, his average rating has been good and he looks a great buy.
Dani Carvajal - Only the 8 games for him as 10 or so games in 2014 have been played with 3 at the back, he has been very impressive defensively and has even got himself a assist.
Kurt Zouma - In Martinez's opinion the best buy of the lot, despite his young age he has been very impressive and has shown mature performances. 12 games of date with a 7.76 average rating.

Liverpool Announce New Kits for 2014

Martinez today has announced that he has changed Liverpool have now reverted back to their old badge and have gone back to the legendary Adidas Originals as kit maker. Also, the club will no longer generate income from kit sponsors but give money to their knew charity Joining Jack. A great gesture from a great club.

Upgrades At Anfield

Roberto Martinez today has announced that Liverpool's infamous ground Anfield will stay for many years to come and that it will be extended to meet the clubs demands to 60,000 Capacity. Also, the club has announced that the youth and training facilities have now been upgraded to improve future squads. Liverpool FC is moving forward for the future.
I have to be honest and say I am not a fan of the kits. Liverpool FC is recognised world wide in my opinion for their red home kit. It is part of the club's image and I don't think that should ever change. However, it is your story, they are your kits, and I am happy if you are :)
