I am addicted to checking genie scout every now and than to see if any new player name appears when I sort by potential ability and if a new name does creep up and they meet my consistency, important matches and determination minimum figures I immediately scout them in game just to make sure things tie up and than purchase the player ,it takes these players a while to perform but once they reach or come closer to full potential they really excel .

What's the best and fastest way to close the gap between current ability and potential ability besides match experience ? most of them are very young and if training is tweaked and changes to ''heavy'' the risk is fatigue and injury ...does tutoring, mentoring, training, loaning the player out ,lots of game time ,talking to player to tell him to improve if he wants to play first team football/remain at the club, help ?

Genie scout shows how the player will most likely reflect in future any ideas to improve these figures especially ''consistency'' and ''important matches'' as these tend to show very little increase ....

Mmmm quite a tough question generally speaking match experience is the fastest and most reliable way of progressing a player and generally hidden attributes like consistency and important matches do not improve. I find training isn't as significant as someone's progress rate, if they have say 4.5/5 stars for progress rate they tend to get an ability boost every season regardless of match experience and/or training. As for tutoring I believe the youth player will get a mental stat boost as well as picking up preferred moves from the senior player but it rarely has much of an effect in the long run and telling the player he needs to improve will maybe make him more motivated to turn his form around but I doubt if it has an effect on ability. I'd stick with Loaning them out as soon as they turn 17 and then stick them in your first team squad as fast as possible. If they get 14 sub appearances a year to start off with believe me it will be beneficial.
