European Ranking system

My anderlecht team is currently rated 3/5 stars in europe and although my profile was raised after last years champions league performance I'm still finding it hard to attract established players. My question is how exactly are the rankings calcuated? Is it a point system setup or does it depend on what stage of the competition you reach? Thanks

European coefficents for clubs are based on I think the last 3 years performance wise.

The league co-efficents in your league are probably low due to you being the only team in your league performing to a high level in Europe.

you say it's based on the last 3 years performance but what does that mean? is it based on stage of comp reached or number of wins etc?

As in how good your team did in that competition, as in you get more points for the further you get in Europe. Pretty straight forward. You get the ost points for winning the champions league, obviously winning qualifiers against a team from say Northern Ireland won't boost your co-efficents that much
