Juventus made history today by appointing Stacey Louise as their new manager. Stacey will become only the 2nd female manager of a men's side and with many fans unhappy with this appointment Stacey will have her work cut out to try prove them wrong.

All we know of this unknown manager is that she played for Semi professional side Tipton Town Ladies and having had her first child at such a young age she was forced out of play. An that's why she turned to management she has denied to speak to any journalists but she did release a brief statement on the club website saying.

I know many fans are upset with my appointment as manager but i know i am more than capable of managering this fantastic football club and i firmly believe i can succeed and lead this club to glory.
Good thing Andy Gray isn't a commentator for Serie A football ;)

After a few days of protests and abusive messages from Juventus fans. I knew it was time to sit down with my assistant manager Angelo Alessio and discuss what players were going to stay and what players were going to be playing their football elsewhere.

I'd already decided i was going to keep the staff that was at the club for the time been as my main objective was getting the right players in and winning my first trophy.

The Super cup which is against Napoli. I knew this was my first chance to prove a woman can succeed in a mans game. I also knew Napoli wasn't an easy opponent and i had less than a month to sort my team out.

After looking at the team report Alessio had brought with him into my office i immediately noticed we were lacking in the left back department as well as Right Midfield.. Chiellini was our best left back but i needed him at Centre back. I knew this was my first task and i had to get this right.
Nice start, I hope you beat Napoli in the Super Cup :)
Tough match to start your season. Hopefully, winning the trophy will get the fans on your side.
How can the fans not love a woman swinging the scepter at their club? and especially those silly Italians.
Anyway Best of luck against Napoli and take home that trophy :)

Looking forward how this story will progress
Good luck with this Stacey :)

Jorge Martinez and Vincenzo Iaquinta were first on my list to be offloaded i just could not see a future for them at this club and Iaquinta been 32 yrs of age i thought id try get a little cash for him. But the main reason behind offloading these 2 players was because id be saving a whopping 132k in wages. This could be spent on strengthening my squad ahead of the Super Cup Final and the opening of the Serie A.

Marco Storari was set to follow saving 44k in wages. I felt this could go towards buying a much younger goalkeeper who could step up once Buffon decided it was time to hang up his boots. These 3 were the only big names i was looking to offload at the moment.

Within a few hours of transfer listing Storari Udinese came straight in with a 625k bid witch i immediately accepted. I also had news coming in that Arsene Wenger was chasing Mirko Vucinic and Bayern Munich were chasing Leonardo Bonucci. I knew straight away i wasn't going to let these 2 players leave easierly and Arsenal and Bayern would have to offer outstanding offers for me to accept.
Good start Stacey :D

Good start! Show those pesky fans that the fairer gender can bring glory to a club!

I had not yet recieved any offers for Vucinic Or Bonucci so i decided to turn my attentions to my left back problem. So i began my search for a left back this was proving difficult for some reason the players i was keen on did not share my same ambition and they all had no intention of signing for Juventus. I was beginning to think players didnt want a woman in football either and didnt want to play under me but I was not to give up and continued my search after a few days id set my sights on 2 players Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Leighton Baines.

http://i40.tinypic.com/nfi8ue.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/smc0ar.jpg

I decided Assou-Ekotto was the man i wanted to try and sign first and he was very interested in moving from Tottenham so i started the bidding with a 9 mill offer which they rejected so i offerd 10mill which was also rejected. I decided 12mil would be as high as i would go. Thats when i sent in my final bid of 11.5mill which was also rejected. Tottenham then sent me an email saying they would accept no less than 34million. Which i was absolutly shocked at there was NO WAY!! i was paying that for him.

So i turned my attentions to Leighton Baines hoping id be able to get him at a more respectable price and after watching him play i was actully glad i haden't brought Assou-Ekotto has Baines was a much better player. His crossing and free kick taking was amazing he was truely a fantastic left back. I opened the bidding with a 15million pound offer which was declinded so i upped this bid to 19.75million this was also declinded. After not having much more choice has 19.75mill was all i had in my transfer budget i sat back in my chair and accepted i was defeated
Doesn't matter, you can find someone else good :)
Good start to the story. Never been a fan of the Italian league mainly because of the co-ownership rule. Will continue to follow nevertheless!
